We are getting a puppy!!!!

Boxers and retrievers are both fantastic dogs. As long as you get one from a good breeder you can't really go wrong with either one.

My neighbor has a Golden and he is the most fantastic, friendly dog :goodvibes But.....he sheds alot!!! If this doesn't bother you, than I would recommend this breed.

I'll have to chime in on the greyhound, too. We have one that was a racer and she is the sweetest thing. She's great around my kids and she thinks DH hung the moon or something. She's so funny, she'll walk up to him and twist her body around his legs so he can't leave until he loves on her ... for a long time.
We have cats, too, so when we got her, we did watch very carefully to be sure she didn't try to eat my cats. One was not even 6 months old yet. Lady got used to the cats and now the cuddle on her bed.
Love, love, love greyhounds. She is our second one, too.
Hope you give them a thought.

We have a golden. He's 5 months. Cute, smart, behaves and is so laid back. We have 3 boys to entertain him. :) Hasn't shed too much yet but he is young.

I see the golden is in the lead. But we have ruled them out. At this point we are concentrating on either a boxer or another beagle. We are more leaning towards the boxer. We have had beagles in the past and I know how wonderful they are with kids. We have afriend that has the most easy going boxer, he is the ultimate dog. So we are starting an active search now and I will update when we get him/her.

God, I feel like I am expecting a new baby.
