onsite my favorite restaurant is Citricos at the Grand Floridian

offsite, my favorite place - though not on the same level as citricos - but nice for a regular meal - is the Celebration Town Tavern - good food, good prices, good service, relaxed atmosphere..

Our faves are Cheesecake factory (a must every trip now) Mimis Cafe (DW's fave) Orlando Alehouse, Logans Roadhouse, Celebration Town Tavern, Sweet Tomatoes.
Others like Tony Romas & Bahama Breeze, we still have not been.
If you search back you should come across threads, it gets asked quite a bit but I have not saved any links.

Like Wayne, we enjoy The Cheesecake Factory very much.

We have also started to visit Tony Roma's recently and have found them to be excellent value.

Bahama Breeze - everyone raves about it; we went once and were very disappointed. Haven't been back since.

We also enjoy Outback and a number of the restaurants at City Walk including Hard Rock Café and Pastamoré.

We live Olive Garden as a pretty generic chain but the ones in Orlando can be hit or miss.

Our faves are Cheesecake factory (a must every trip now) .

Wayne, I have heard you talk about this place before but know very little about it, looking for something a little different and new this year and this could be it.

As we always seem to book the same each year, as we know what we are going to get and its good.

Thanks

Neil

In no particular order my favourites were...

Ohana's (great atmosphere, some people find it too noisy but we had a later reservation and it was perfect)
California Grill (tried some new foods and great place to watch Wishes)
Jiko (tasty and unusual food!)

Actually I pretty much loved every place we ate! When we were there we were on the Dining Plan and so were lucky enough to do lots of Signature and Character dining (Cinderella's Royal Table is a must if you have any princess fans going with you!)

Boma and Calafornia Grill are both great :thumbsup2

They have a big choice, large portions, good quality, great service and reasonable prices.
I kept reading about it on here thinking it can't be so good but it is, well worth a try.
A few pics I have in my photobucket account.
3rd pic down I have had twice now, I am almost certain I will order it next time, one of the nicest dishes I have ever eaten,
Chicken Marsala & mushrooms :- Chicken breast sauteed with fresh mushrooms in a rich marsala wine sauce, served over bow tie pasta:cloud9:

gotta go to the cheesecake factory!!! we also like Fuddruckers for a good burger!

Melting Pot one of our very faves.
Panera Bread is a staple for us for lunch.
Ruth's Chris or Shula (onsite) for steaks.
Fudruckers for burgers.
Olive Garden for cheap and good Italian.
Sal's Pizzeria up at the Portifino Universal resort for good authentic pizza.
P.F. Changs for chinese.

Onsite
Sanaa if you like Indian food.
Ohana nearly always busy but great food.
Victoria and Alberts for fine dining.
Via Napoli for amazing pizza.

To start you with lol. I could talk about food all day long :rotfl:

If you're still after ideas, you could always look at the thread that I posted just before Christmas: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2616533

I'm not saying that you should do a random draw as well (I understand that not everyone is as strange as me!) but certainly lots of people contributed some wonderful ideas in that thread that might give you some food for thought - pun intended!

When we go we always have to visit Chilis (with Krispy Kreme's for pudding next door) and The Cheescake Factory. It is a must! Fantastic food and still cheaper than eating out in this country!

Wow - I absolutely love your idea. May try that in the future!
