We All Want a Jar of Hunny!~A Nov. 2010 TR! *NEW October PTR 4/4, pg 42!!!*

I have never eaten at LTT for lunch, but I have for dinner. I may have to choose lunch there soon though, because that toffee cake looks amazing! :lovestruc

I love the Claw picture....such cute, little aliens! The baby giraffes are awfully cute too!

Love Space and Pirates! Always must-dos for us!

We've never been to the shooting arcade, but it seems like fun off-the-beaten-track type of thing.

Never been to LTT either, but it sounds yummy. Making me hungry! :rotfl:

I love the Toy Story Aliens! :lovestruc I wish I got a baby giraffe, but I'm sure they will be there next time!

We have never been to that arcade either, I know I have walked by it a million times, but Brandon finally wanted to stop and check it out this time! It's cute, it seems like something that has been there since the beginning of MK!

LTT is great, I will most likely go back on my next trip! :thumbsup2

I chose lunch just because you can pick what you want to eat, and since I'm pretty obsessed with pot roast, I knew I had to have that. However, the dinner menu looks pretty great, I'm equally as obsessed with Thanksgiving food, so I might try that next time...although, I will miss that cake! :yay:

Going to try to do an update soon! :woohoo:

Never. Again.

Day 2, 11/13 part 4!

Welcome back! Still Day 2! Day 2 was a loooong day! :rotfl:

After resting at POR until about 4, we were ready to go back to Epcot for the night for some more Food and Wine fun! We were planning to go back to MK that night for the Wishes dessert party and extra magic hours, so we decided to drive to MK, park, and take the monorail over to Epcot. Not the best idea, but we figured either way would be time consuming! :confused3

When we arrived at Epcot, we were amazed at the crowds! I knew Saturday night would be more crowded than Friday and I knew that Epcot was crazy on F&W weekends, but it was insane! We made our way to World Showcase and went to Mexico to go to La Cava del Tequila to get margaritas...and the line was out the door of the Cave! If you haven't been there, it's SO small, and they can only let a certain amount of people in at one time, even to go to the bar and just order a drink, so they had a rope outside that looped around and there was a huge line. We didn't have anything else to do so we just got in line and waited.

I tried to get a good pic of Mexico but nothing turned out too great:

IMG_1488.jpg

Finally we were at the front of the line and they asked if we wanted a table, since one was available, and Brandon said no, we just wanted to get drinks. They told us we could sit at a table to do that, so we said fine, we'll take the table! We both got margaritas-I got the classic on the rocks and he got the hibiscus, and we got chicken tostadas to share, which were really good! :thumbsup2 I didn't take pics in there, sorry, it was just so crowded and insane I didn't feel like being annoying with my camera!

Once we were finished in Mexico, we stopped at the China booth, where again, there was a looong line! All the lines for the booths were crazy that night, it was totally different from the night before, and I thought the crowds were bad Friday night!

IMG_1491.jpg

I got the chicken bbq stick and Brandon got the shrimp and noodles. Again, I didn't take pictures, we were too busy trying to find a place off to the side to eat really quick! My chicken was great, and Brandon liked his noodles!

I knew I wanted more of that baked ravioli from Italy, so we went in that direction, going by many booths that had huge lines! Here is a crowd pic:

IMG_1492.jpg

It was not fun trying to weave your way in and out of everyone!

We made it to Italy

IMG_1493.jpg

and both got the ravioli and Brandon got a cannoli, which he inhaled, and then he finished his ravioli and started making comments about me eating too slow! I like to actually enjoy what I'm eating, and he just wants to keep going and see what's next!

We decided after Italy that it was time for more beer, so we went to the Hops and Barley booth, and I took this pic along the way:

IMG_1494.jpg

2 of my favorite Disney things, turkey legs and popcorn!

At the Hops and Barley booth, we both got the medium sized beers, no tiny beers this time! I got a Cherry Wheat, which is my favorite beer in the world, and Brandon got an Octoberfest again, yum!

I tried to get a nice picture of the tree in front of the American Adventure, but I wasn't having any luck, they all came out blurry :confused3

IMG_1495.jpg

I think I got some better ones later in the week!

Anyway, after getting our beers, we moved on to the Japan booth

IMG_1496.jpg

where Brandon had to get sushi, of course!

IMG_1497.jpg

I'm not a big fan of sushi, but Brandon said it was good!

We then went back to the Belgium booth, where Brandon considered getting more of those mussels from the night before, but decided it probably wasn't the best idea, considering how much he had already eaten so far! We just got drinks, he got a beer and I got the Godiva chocolate liqueur iced coffee.

IMG_1501.jpg

Again with the tiny bathroom sized cups! :rotfl2: The coffee was SO good, I wanted to get another one, but the line was so long, and I just did not feel like waiting, we had to keep walking through World Showcase and make our way back to MK soon...

We stopped in France to take some photopass pics...there were a few shots of the same picture with only small differences. I think I look better in this picture:

Photo0013FourBySix.jpg

(Brandon looks like he has no teeth in that shot! :rotfl:)

And I think Brandon looks better in this one:

Photo0015FourBySix.jpg

(We both really need to practice smiling normally in front of a camera!)

It was getting late, so we had to start walking towards Future World, and say goodbye to the Food and Wine fest! I'm so glad we got to experience the festival, even if it was the last weekend...now I know I want to go back!

We were finally at the monorail platform, ready to go back to MK!

IMG_1505.jpg

Unfortunately, lots of other people had the same idea...the monorail was ridiculously crowded! I could not wait to get to MK, because at 9:00 we would be going to the Wishes Dessert Party!

Up next...the dessert party and...magic hours?

I can't wait to hear how you liked the dessert party. I forgot you even went there. I hope you took a bunch of pictures. I have to say so far you've been slacking with the food pictures!

F&W sounds so good. The coffee you had looked fantastic.

Oh, I got the thank you card for your wedding gift. I thought it was a x-mas card at first. I thought it was so cute that you would send out x-mas cards now that you have address labels with both of your names on them.

There are a lot of people in EPCOT that night:scared1:

I was telling John that once Caitlin is done in elementary school we'll have to start taking vacation in the summer:sad1: I am not looking foward to the summer heat or crowds. It will be like all the trips we took when we were kids though.

That little coffee is so cute - I can't believe how tiny it is! And your PP pics in France are great! That's such a good picture of the both of you! :goodvibes

Uh oh...it sounds like things didn't go as planned at the MK. :confused3

I'm excited to hear how you liked the dessert party. I went to it over Thanksgiving and thought it was great! :thumbsup2

Wow, no wonder everyone says skip the weekends at EPCOT during food and wine, that does look crowded!! Those maragaritas are soooo good though :goodvibes

Your photopass pictures came out cute :cutie:

Yeah, I'm not good with taking pictures of food...I just feel too stupid once I get in a restaurant! I did better this trip than in May, though!

F&W is so much fun! When Caitlin gets over the Star Wars obsession, you should go in October!

I am doing Christmas cards this year, partly because of those labels, and partly because I got cards in Disney that are really cute!

I wouldn't mind going in the summer, I just think I would stay away from July and the beginning of August. :cool1:

That coffee was SO good, I wish they gave you bigger cups! :rotfl: Thanks, I do like the France PP pics, but I just wish we both looked good in one picture!

Things went ok in MK, we just didn't get in as much magic hour time as I would have liked!

I'm excited to hear how you liked the dessert party. I went to it over Thanksgiving and thought it was great! :thumbsup2

I'll probably do my dessert party update tomorrow sometime, but I will say this, it was a lot of fun!

It was really crowded at Epcot! I didn't think it would be that crazy, but now I know to stay away from there on the weekends next time! I love the margaritas in Mexico, they are really strong!

The Godiva iced coffee looks delish and I can't wait to hear about the dessert party. Great TR!

Thanks, the iced coffee was probably my favorite thing from the F&W fest (well, and the baked ravioli)! :)

Another mouth watering F&W update! I want to try every single thing that you mentioned!

Ugh, those lines! I think this is a sign of things to come for John and I in a few weeks! :headache:

I love the PP pictures from this post! The border you chose is beautiful! :lovestruc

Oh my word that dessert looks to die for!!!! And Ben definitely wants to "drink around the world". Sorry, I am just now catching up & replying again. Things have been crazy!!! I finally updated my PTR, just so you can see how crazy life gets!!!

Those were some crazy crowds for F & W. Atleast you had some time to wander around and enjoy it. I think the photopass pictures of you and Brandon came out great!

Can't wait to hear about the wishes dessert party!

We didn't get to sample nearly as much as I had planned at the F&W festival, too many people! And we didn't want to fill up on things there when we had ADR's both nights! Kind of bad planning on my part, but it was hard to squeeze it in since we only had 2 nights there! Oh well, I know better for next time!

Don't worry about the lines, you guys will have a great time either way! I would just suggest you get there for rope drop every morning and try getting the more popular rides out of the way! Do you have park hoppers, I forget? If you do and one park is too crowded, you can always hop to another park!

Thanks, I love the borders for both of those pics, especially the one with the leaves, it matches the color of the picture really well! Next time I want to do that same picture, but during the day! :thumbsup2

The toffee cake? It was really good! :cool1: I don't think I ate it all because I ate my entire plate of pot roast (which was a huge portion) but I tried! Drinking around the world is fun, but you have to pace yourself! I can't handle more than like, 3 drinks. The little beers and drinks they give you at the F&W fest are actually good for that because you can sample things but you're not drinking a lot of alcohol!

It's ok, don't apologize for not having much DIS time lately! If my DH didn't work at night or if I had kids I wouldn't have a lot of time for it either!

The crowds were pretty insane on Saturday, but I'm glad we got to finallly experience F&W, I'd really like to go back at a time where I can go in the middle of the week!

Yes! That one! Oh my word my mouth was watering!!!! I don't drink beer at all, so I would be ok. Margaritas, daiquiris, wine....anything along those lines would be great! :lmao: (As I sip on a glass of wine now)

With the fire & getting things back settled, after 2 weeks of doing laundry for 12 hrs non stop (not kidding), I am back to normal. Whatever that is lol

That cake was definitely good, but the best dessert that I've had at Disney is the bread pudding at Ohana. If you're not planning to eat there when you go in June, I would seriously try to figure out a time to fit it in, it is THAT good!

Have you been to the tequila bar in Mexico? They have some great margaritas! And the slushies in France are really good! The margaritas in Mexico are STRONG though, make sure you eat something before you drink one!:rotfl:

I can't believe you had to do so much laundry, that is crazy! I've been putting off doing my laundry for days and I only have one load to do, I just hate doing laundry soooo much!

I know it's just personal taste, but I love how everyone has a different "best dessert at Disney" :lmao: Mine was the Dunbrody Kiss at Raglan Road :)

We are planning on Ohana, Koby wants to see Lilo & Stitch!

We have not been to anywhere in Epcot but Japan for PaP & America so we can eat!

Here was how the laundry started: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=167858263247633&set=a.154692267897566.32744.100000703815334
That was on November 24th

On November 30th I had none: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=169173173116142&set=a.154692267897566.32744.100000703815334

But we had to wash every piece of clothes all 5 of us owned to get the smoke smell from the fire out!

Before I went to Ohana, it was the chocolate moose at Le Cellier, but now it's the bread pudding...OMG it's so good, I'm craving it now...I found a recipe for it, I'm going to try it when I get a chance!

I want to find a time to try Raglan Road for my next trip!

Yay I'm glad you're going to Ohana!

 I hope you are going to spend more time in Epcot this time!!! My favorite park!!!

LOL I remember reading the FB laundry updates! Crazy! :upsidedow

Only one day, but one FULL day! I was so sick of seeing laundry. It took me 6 hours to wash every dish, pot, & utensil we had when we moved back in! Fires suck!!!!

Awww, love the pic when you ended up getting wet on Splash Mountain! Your expressions are perfect to capture that specific ride!

Mmm, raspberry lemonade slush sounds good! Howard and I split a regular lemonade one during our Epcot day, and it was yummy. Didn't know there was a raspberry one too!

WHOA to those crowds at F&W at night! Haha, I wonder how much money Disney makes on those nights!!!
