We All Want a Jar of Hunny!~A Nov. 2010 TR! *NEW October PTR 4/4, pg 42!!!*

great update!!!!

I'll never forget the one time I went on SM. I went one of the nights after I was done working at BBB with a friend and he wanted to go and I said, nope I don't really want to get wet. The "sprayer" was not on at the time so I said okay..in the meantime the "sprayer" turned on and hit us directly. We both left soaking wet. I'm sure the ppl in the tunnel leaving work were like what the..??? It was fun but not how I wanted to drive home that night haha. I do love SM though, it's one of my favs!

LOL that's so funny! I always laugh at people wearing ponchos on Splash, but now I kind of understand why! :rotfl:

 I think it's so funny that your DH wanted to start the day at HoP! I'm so glad you steered him toward Splash - it sounds like you had a really fun ride! Sorry your hair got ruined, though!

Yeah, my DH is a little strange, he always wants to see the shows, I think if he could spend a whole day seeing shows he would, which is weird because I didn't think he would like them! Splash was fun, and yeah, my hair got ruined but I should have known better straightening that day! :rotfl:

Aww the white rabbit is such a cutie!! you know I always read other TRs and I dont know how they can look nice with their hair all done up...because I would straighten mine all morning and as soon as we went on one ride it was ruined :rotfl:

The dance outside HoP was funny!! DBF loves that one too!

LOL part of the reason I like November is the low humidity so my hair can look halfway decent! Although when you're going on water rides, there's really no chance of that! I should just leave it curly while I'm in Disney, it's kind of a waste of time to straighten it!

Looks like a nice, relaxed morning at the MK! Sorry you got so wet on Splash. Normally, the third row is a pretty good bet...but not always, I guess. Glad it was warm enough to dry out. We never made it to Splash this last trip, since we were never in the MK when it was warm enough to stand a chance at drying out quickly. Love the ride, though!

That's what I thought about the third row...but Splash seemed different this trip, we went on again later in the week and...well, it didn't turn out so good! :lmao: It's still a great ride though, I love the soundtrack! :thumbsup2

I don't know what they did to Splash mtn, but everyone gets soaked now. It's crazy. In September there were people walking off that were drenched. For the longest time I never got wet, but now that ride is soak city.

OMG I'm so glad you said that, I thought it was me! I never got wet on Splash before this trip, and both times I went on I got soaked! It seemed like water was just pouring into the log...while we were on it I asked my DH if the water seemed deeper and he said yes, really weird! If they don't do something I'm going to start avoiding it!

:lmao: You totally sound like me! I always spend this time doing my hair in Disney, we realistically it is never worth it!

LOL, I know, there is no point to waste my time doing my hair in Disney! Next trip, I'll just sleep for an extra 30 minutes!

How cute that Brandon likes HoP enough to do a little dance!:goodvibes I guess he really does love Disney.;)

Oh, Splash Mountain, such a wonderful ride except for the part of it being a wet ride. I am really debating on riding it in a couple of weeks. I know Chloe will want to, but it might be cold. I may just be that person with a poncho on. Always wear one on Kali and when I get off it I am the one that is laughing!:lmao: Walking around in wet clothes isn't so fun.

Great start to the day at MK, Jen. I love the look of Brandon's Mickey Waffle (I never knew they had those at Sleepy Hallow). I love the picture of you guys with Tinkerbelle. :)

All caught up once again! I love the pic with the White Rabbit! Your TR is helping me make my list of what to see & who to meet & where they are at for our next trip!!!!

LOL...yeah, sometimes you will think Brandon is a huge Disney freak, other times you would think he hates it...we got in a huge debate about it the other night...:rotfl:

I might just be wearing a poncho the next time I go on too! It really seems like you get soaked no matter where you sit now! And I've only been on Kali once and didn't get wet so I've avoided it ever since, assuming that the next time I go on I'll get soaked! I hope it's warm enough for you to go on Splash!

Thanks! That waffle did look pretty good, and it was huge, not like those tiny Mickey waffles at the buffets! :thumbsup2

Thanks! The White Rabbit is so cute, I didn't go looking for him so it was nice that he was just there and didn't have much of a line!:cool1:

I am sooo loving reading your reviews! It sounds like you had a magical time! I can't wait to read more. Thanks for sharing!! :goodvibes

:welcome: Thanks for reading, glad you're enjoying it so far! :cool1:

I'm a little late but I'd love to join in. Loving it all so far.

:welcome: Thanks for joining! You're not late, I'm only on my 2nd day and it's still the morning! There's still a lot more trip to cover! :rotfl:

i want to go now

LOL I know what you mean, I want to go back right now too! :woohoo:

Welcome to a place where dreams come true!

Day 2, 11/13 part 3!

Once we were finished meeting the White Rabbit, we made our way to Tomorrowland because Brandon wanted to go on Space Mountain!

IMG_1465.jpg

(I don't remember what the wait time was, and I can't tell from the picture but I think it was maybe 30 minutes or so, not too bad.)

Space Mountain was so much fun, I actually flew out of my seat a few times! Sometimes SM is a little too crazy, which makes it not fun for me, but this time it was great! I think it matters where you sit, we were in the front car, in the first 2 seats, so that was great! :thumbsup2

After we got off SM, we got FP's because we figured we would want to ride again after lunch, so we held on to those for later.

For some reason, we left Tomorrowland without doing anything else...we were going to go on the TTA but it was either down or there was a wait, I don't remember, so I took this pic really quick

IMG_1466.jpg

(The claaawww!)

and we went towards the hub.

IMG_1467.jpg

Again, like in the morning, we just stood around for a few minutes thinking about what to do next...

IMG_1471.jpg

and I suggested Pirates of the Caribbean, so we were off to Adventureland!

I love the entrance area to Adventureland, it's so tropical and pretty, and I love the music!

IMG_1474.jpg

IMG_1475.jpg

(Notice how Brandon is laughing in the corner of that pic? Pretty much every time I would stop to take a picture, he would be in the corner of it because he would walk in front of me! So I started getting annoyed with him, since I would have to retake my pictures, and he did this on purpose! Kind of funny!)

We took some time to browse around in the shops for a little while, where I saw these

IMG_1476.jpg

and took this picture to remind myself to come back and get a baby giraffe! I love giraffes and thought this was so cute...unfortunately, I ended up forgetting about it and never bought it. Next time!

It was getting pretty hot and Brandon wanted a drink so we stopped here

IMG_1478.jpg

where he got a raspberry lemonade slush, which was SO good! I didn't even know this place existed, I know I've seen it mentioned but I never knew where it was...I love discovering new places in WDW, even something as simple as a place to get a drink!

Finally, we made it to

IMG_1480.jpg

Pirates! One of my favorite rides!

This was the first trip where we have ever had to wait to get on POTC, it's usually a walk on, but there was about a 15 minute wait! It went by quickly, and the ride was as fun as always!

After Pirates, we went around through Frontierland, and Brandon saw this place

IMG_1482.jpg

where he decided to try shooting!

IMG_1483.jpg

After the shooting arcade, it was finally time to check into

IMG_1486.jpg

for lunch! I kept seeing reviews of LTT saying how good it was, so I was excited to be trying it!

We checked in and there was a little bit of a wait, so I took some pics of the inside while waiting

IMG_1485.jpg

IMG_1484.jpg

I really liked the way this restaurant is decorated, and the whole colonial theme!

Once we were seated, we ordered quickly! I knew what I was getting since I had been looking at menus for months :rotfl: (pot roast), and Brandon got the fish that was the special that day. Everything was SO good! I would go back there just for that pot roast, it was great, and the portions are huge! And Brandon loved the fish he got!

We got dessert, even though we were stuffed, and again, I already knew what to get...the ooey gooey toffee cake!

IMG_1487.jpg

Again, so good! :thumbsup2 I don't remember what Brandon got, sorry, I was too interested in eating my cake to make a note of it! :rotfl:

Once we were finished, were ready to head back to POR, it was a long morning and we had a long night ahead of us...we were going back to Epcot for some more Food and Wine fun, then returning to MK! Time for a nap!

Isn't the ooey gooey cake amazing? I want it now!

OMG it's sooooo good! I wish you could order food from Disney to get shipped to you...although, if that was an option, I'd probably be broke from ordering filet from Le Cellier, the cake from LTT, and the bread pudding from Ohana every day! :rotfl:

Two great updates! :thumbsup2 It doesn't matter where I sit on Splash Mountain, I always get soaked! We have a home video from when John and I went with our sister, and I am getting off of Splash Mountain totally drenched and not very happy about it!

OMG Space Mountain looks so awesome now! It was closed when we went in June 2009, so I haven't ridden it in almost two years and it's one of our favorite rides! That is the first thing we plan to do when we get to MK on the 26th! :goodvibes

I'm so glad to hear that Liberty Tree Tavern was good! We are eating lunch there on our first day and I have been so excited to read your review about it!

Looks like a yummy dessert! We've only eaten there for dinner when it had the characters and that food was always good!

Glad to hear LTT was a good choice, I think we are going to try that one next trip and that dessert looks so great!!

I love just the queue line for pirates, that ride is the best!

Not this exact one, but one that was identical, if I remember correctly :)

Thanks, I'm definitely going to have to try that! :cool1:

LOL I have never gotten soaked on SM until this trip...it's not fun! I can see how it would be in the summer but not now! Your home video sounds hysterical! :lmao:

Space Mountain is so much fun! I've always liked it, but it's a lot better now, it seems darker and there's music now too! :thumbsup2 And it's always fun to wonder if you're going to be thrown out of your seat!

You're going to love LTT, it's so good! I almost wish they served alcohol in MK just for this restaurant to get a glass of wine or beer with your lunch/dinner, but it doesn't really need it! Make sure you get that cake for dessert!

Looks like a yummy dessert! We've only eaten there for dinner when it had the characters and that food was always good!

I wish I went when they had characters, they stopped doing that before I ever even considered eating there! :confused3 It is really good, I'd like to try it for dinner someday!

Glad to hear LTT was a good choice, I think we are going to try that one next trip and that dessert looks so great!!

I love just the queue line for pirates, that ride is the best!

LTT is great, I think you will like it...if you want more variety to pick from, definitely go for lunch though!

Pirates is one of my favorite rides at Disney, I love everything about it!

I love the Claw picture....such cute, little aliens! The baby giraffes are awfully cute too!

Love Space and Pirates! Always must-dos for us!

We've never been to the shooting arcade, but it seems like fun off-the-beaten-track type of thing.

Never been to LTT either, but it sounds yummy. Making me hungry! :rotfl:
