We all have our favorite resort we've stayed at or dreamed of staying at but...

If I had to pick a least favorite it would have to be the CBR only because of all the bus stops. We were always the last stop picked up and the last stop dropped off. It wasn't enough to prevent me from choosing to stay there again but as far as all the other resorts this part made it our least favorite

I haven't stayed at all the resorts, but most. I would say least favorite is a toss up between All Stars anything (it's a motel 8 in disguise) and Boardwalk Inn. We had such rotten experiences at BWI, especially with mousekeeping, it really left a bad taste. We were upgraded to a suite, had a fantastic view, but CMs after check-in we're so rude, mousekeeping horrible, and the layout difficult with younger kids, I'd be hard pressed to go back.

My least favorites are the poly and the beach club. Both are just too crazy and crowded for me. If I HAD to stay at either I would probably pick the beach club.

I hated POR. Maybe it's because DH had a convention at the Contemporary which I love, That means I'm a little biased because I was disappointed not to be staying there. // What I hated: Removed from everything. Drove and picked up DH at Contemporary so I could have the car during the day. Even though DH was there for a convention, he was not allowed to have the car there for more than four hours. Say what. One day he took the bus to the MK and walked over. // Could not get into the restaurant at POR (always fully booked when I checked), so had to eat at the awful food court. Hated the food there. // Going to Downtown Disney on the boat to eat was a joke. I thought it would be delightful taking the boat down there and trying a different place each night. WRONG. Every place was already booked for the night or had a three plus hour wait. We ate at the rainforest café four hours after we put our name on the list. // I thought it would be cool to be able to do the fishing at POR, but it was sooo lame. Really designed for very little kids. // I was sooo happy to leave and move into an offsite condo.

I'll need to duck & cover too - for me it's BLT: feels cold (no Disney magic), security is too much, pool is too small. Shower felt like it would take my skin off & the entire building smelled like chemicals. Prefer Beach Club to Yacht Club - YC is too stuffy & formal. Love Poly, CSR & WL!!!

Least are the Allstars. My parents went once and would never let anyone else even try then. I have also had a bad experience at POR...bad mouse keeping. My favorites are AKL but I hope to try Polynesian and contemporary soon. We love the restaurants in both

I've stayed at Caribbean Beach, Coronado Springs, Pop Century, Contemporary, and Animal Kingdom Lodge.

It's a really tough decision but I think Coronado Springs is my least favorite. The pool area is amazing, and I really like the way the rooms have been refurbished (haven't been since the refurb, though), but the theme really isn't my favorite, and I really dislike the food court system. I remember we always had to take our food to go to avoid paying an automatic gratuity. Maybe that has changed.

Animal Kingdom Lodge is my favorite :goodvibes

CBR because it seems too expensive for the tired looking rooms, small beds, and no elevators. The grounds and pools are nice but I feel it should be priced between a value and the other moderates.

Beach Club CL....very disappointing on MANY different levels. We have stayed in other deluxe hotels and Pop. If I had to choose between BC and Pop, Pop would win hands down.

CBR. We stayed in 2008 as they were renovating the main pool (which was the closest pool to our preferred room in Martinique) so we didn't have a nearby pool to swim in. The layout of the resort is incredibly confusing and although I was thankful to be as close to Old Port Royale as we were, I wish we were told we were also closer to the Old Port Royale bus stop than we were to the Martinique one...that would have saved quite a few sprints through thunderstorms across parking lots while trying to figure out why our building was no where near our island's stop.

I really hate to say it because I have a love/hate relationship with it, but CBR. I love the theme...everything about the theme. I want it to be THE resort for me to go to every time because of the theme, but I gotta say, I HATE how spread out and big it is. It takes forever and a day to get any where and its internal buses don't really make it faster. It's really a shame. I have issues with it being in dire need of updating but it appears they are working on it. Ugh I want it to work out for me so badly as I do have special and fond memories of the resort.

For me, it's WL. It felt so crowded and hectic all the time! The food choices are not good. Sure, Artist Point is wonderful, but you can't eat there all the time. I walked n Roaring Forks once and that was enough!

Fort wilderness cabin. The pool was too wild at night. The cabins too far from everything. And taking an air conditioned bus from the pool to the cabin is miserable.

what's your least favorite resort you've stayed at? For me it's AKL not that it wasn't great but just compared to the others it was my least favorite. It seemed to get to any of the dining options it was a long ways from our room.

Of course I also have to say to be fair to the poly we really didn't take the time to enjoy the resort like we did at WL & AKL & we regret not doing that. Also AKL while our least favorite you could spend almost an entire week there doing the actives without leaving the resort. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at any we've stayed at thus far, we'll see if the same holds true for BC after September.

I guess I am shocked that anyone could have a least favorite hotel. Some of the reasons just seem horribly picky to me. I guess just want seems to bother most people doesn't bother me.

I have never stayed at the CRB, but I can't imagine the area covers anything like Saratoga Springs does - that hotel is massive.

I have in the past stayed at All Star Sports, Animal Kingdom (older and newer sections), Old Key West, Saratoga Springs, Wilderness Lodge.

Old Key West slight disappointment of no elevators and our room placement. Wouldn't have worked well for my mother with bad knees. The Pop Century I guess had the smallest rooms out of all of them. My next visit will be to check out the Beach Club which will be a new one for us.

My least favorite is Pop and All star Movies.
POP- was empty and there was just no magic at all.
Movies was crazy and packed with teens. We actually left in the middle of the night after teens got into a naked fist fight by the pool. Blood everywhere, chairs flying and police with large guns had to show up to stop the fight after Disney Employees had to retreat in fear. We were refunded our stay without even asking. Yeah it was that bad.:scared1:

For me it's also ASMu. The buses were overly crowded with the 3 resorts, it was always noisy, and we were so far away it wasn't really fun. And to top it off, we stayed their in the monsoon of 2009 where it just rained for 8 days (of course we were there for 7 of them). We've stayed at Pop as well, and I'd happily go back there as another value resort, but NEVER any of the ASMs again!

My least favorite has been CBR. The whole having a separate check in/check out building is just strange. And a bit of an added hassle you don't have at any other resort. I also didn't like there being so many darned bus stops. I love POR and that has 4 stops, but the 7 at CBR are just too many stops. It felt like you were on the bus forever before heading out to the parks.

I also couldn't find much to eat at the food court that appealed to me. And even though I picked what was supposed to be a good non-preferred room location, it was still a long enough walk from the main building that I never made a trip just to get my mug refilled. I twice purchased pop from a vending machine to save myself the hassle.

We have stayed at All Star...Sports, Music, Movies..POP, CBR, CSR, POR, POFQ, Cont, AKL and OKW. Out of these I would say either POP or OKW. Didn't care for either too much, but for price would choose POP before OKW. Our faves are AKL and POFQ! We are trying AOA and POLY in 70 days so we shall see how those stack up!

Port Orleans French Quarter. Lovely resort, very quaint but we missed the feel of POR and its expansive grounds and multiple pools. We like to visit POFQ when we stay at POR, eat at the food court, walk around but we much prefer the larger mods and that is why we have never returned.
