Mine was AoA.
The room itself was fine (I've done ASMu and I knew what to expect as far as the accomedations themselves). So the small beds/space, no coffee pot, etc were not a negative. Though I will say the shower was a little claustophobic. I felt like I was in a cave. LOL I also did not mind the walk AT ALL. I didn't think it was bad, and had no problem with the length. I liked the food court okay but I will say that I tried the Indian food and was not a fan, but have since figured out that I don't like any Indian Food.
I am not a fan of the over the top themeing. I probably should have known better cause POP has never appealed to me, but I thought it might be different as I love the movies that AoA was based on. But no. I hated walking by the Ursula statue (I do have a weird phobia/adversion to large scale things like that, walking under the whale skeltons at musuems wigs me out as well). It was super over decorated and super crowded (not that Disney isn't crowded everywhere) but the sheer amount of families/people in small spaces was unnerving. I just found it not relaxing at all. I prefer a quieter, and more subtle resort.
POP still remains last on my list of places I'd want to stay but AoA is right there with it.
I am really surprised how many people didn't like a resort based on bus service. Bus service is hit or miss ANYWHERE. That's a totally seperate issue. Some of the best busing I've taken has been at ASMu and one of the worst was at ASMu. One resort two completly different bus experiences. I'll be honest one of the reasons I love PO resorts is the boat, love that boat. But I am weird that I actually like the bus rides.
