WDW46: Redemption

Wow! That was awesome.

Loved the Avenger ending - you guys rock!

Did you eat at all during the day?

Just two guys...in their 40s...riding Dumbo. Nothing wrong with that....

Nothing indeed :thumbsup2

Nice work, guys! You've inspired me to do challenges with my kids as they grow older. They will (hopefully) go to WDW many times in their lives. I could see us attempting something like this when they are teenagers.

P.S. If it's not too difficult, you should include the date on your video. I think it's even more impressive you did this around the holidays!

Super Fun. Add it to my bucket list, love to try it with my husband someday, and maybe the kids when they are older. I would have to ride Mission Space, though. Only one I haven't tried due to nausea!!

I can't believe they did it, we can barely conquer one park in a day!;)

Dumbo, maybe...Astro Orbiter, that's awkward!

Of the Dumbo clones, Astro Orbiter is definitely the worst for them to ride together. I will never share a rocket with someone that is not a close female friend. :rotfl2:

I'm not sure..in the video it mentions them grabbing a drink on the run in epcot. I think I read somewhere that they were only eating power bars. At the end of the the video it shows them at a Hess (I think) eating footlongs at 1:30AM afterwards.

That would probably ruin Disney for me, but for those guys Nothing wrong with that. I enjoyed the video but some how got on baby panda videos for the last 45 minutes:confused3 don't you just love you tube

They did it on Nov 8. There are actually only a handful of dates that it's even possible since there's at least one ride closed almost every day of the year. We accomplished the same thing (but with the addition of Sum of All Thrills, which they didn't count) after almost a year and a half of planning but they beat us to the punch by 2 weeks. Nov 8 was actually the first day every ride in all 4 parks was open in the last 4 or 5 months. Our day, Nov 22, was the next one and there won't be another opportunity for another couple months in case anyone's interested in trying it.

If anyone's interested, here's the video of us going on all 47, making it just under the wire after having some issues with the Riverboat - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Em_-aKoG90o

I loved this! I know me and my best friend could rock this out. I definitely want to try! :)

Great job! Not something I would want to try but it was cool to watch. You did it on my daughter's 4th birthday, so she was very excited to watch, too.

Go for it!! As I mentioned earlier there are only a handful of days when it's possible to do every one of them, but if you're willing to forgo the 1 or 2 rides that are under refurb, you can still give it a shot for fun! I'm working on doing a couple recap writeups for our run - one will cover what actually happened that day (the good and the bad) and one will cover all the many many hours of planning that went into it over nearly a year and a half. We went through maybe 10 different major strategies (which day to go, which park to hit first, etc) and countless tweaks to get it right. As it turned out, planning for me was half the fun. Take a look at that when it comes out and see if you can do better! :-)

That is insane. We have done all 4 parks in one day - that was crazy enough. I can't image every ride.

Total props to those two. That is crazy! I would be mentally drained!!!!!!

Hmm, all I've been reading on here is how you need 2 weeks to ride everything now with the new FP+. What type of crazy voodoo did these two employ?
