I used to watch the Wonderful World of Disney and one time Sandy Dunkin had a show on WDW. This was in the 70s when the parkk first opened. I was hhooked right then. When I turned 12 (in 1976), I saved all my money from my paper route and went to Disney with my mom and grandma. We only stayed for 2 days but I loved every bit of it. We stayed and the Contempory and ate a steak dinner at Poly.

I was fortunate enough to get my wife hooked on the magic. We went forever staying at Disney resort (at least 20 times). We thought that DVC was over 40K. When we finally figured out it was 12K to start with and say the great resorts, we bought and have just added on.

I hope my kids love the magic as much as I do.

I so agree. I remember going with my family as a kid and then discovering the magin again as an adult. I bought into DVC a couple years ago, before I got married, and before my daughter was born. I know now that I will use every point I have for special time with my family. We are coiunting down to my daughter's first trip and a family reunion in January. It's so hard to wait!!!!!!!!!
