Finally rode Soarin' (after my husband described it to me as being different than what it was -- he said you laid down in a harness and they inverted you) and I just didn't see the big deal.
I've never been in the Enchanted Tiki room.
Walking around World Showcase, we always skip Mexico (although we have eaten at the CS outdoor restaurant).
At Blizzard Beach, I freak out on the chair lift (any chair lift frightens me). Rode it in 2002 on our honeymoom, once, and refused after that. Gave it another chance last month and after the first ride up, I took the stairs from then on. I was good for the first two or three minutes and then I really started freaking out. However, since DD was with us (she's 3). I couldn't show my anxiety. I was so close to a panic attack, I rode it up with my eyes closed. What's funny, is I really thought I was doing well, until minute three or four hit and then it was all about "How does this thing stay on the rope?" "What if a strong gust hit?" "OMG why do they have rocks underneath us?" Later that day, the things stopped at people were riding it. I kissed the stairs as we were climbing up to the top. Had I been on the chair lift when it stopped, you know EMS would have arrived at the park. I gave it a shot, and from now on, I'll just get my workout for the week by climbing the stairs.
