OK...count me in with the people who are getting tired of Clay...I was actually suprised that none of the judges commented that his first song sounded like a Las Vegas lounge singer...since both my wife and I siad that when he was singing it...but oh well...

I really can't stand Trenyce...but I think we have to wait for next week for her to go bye-bye

I get the feeling that Josh is getting sick of the competition and would not be too upset if he was voted off...and I agree with OT...I could easily see him attacking Simon...wouldn't THAT make great TV??

One last thing...Star Wars has the line "I've got a bad feeling about this" That appears once in every movie....I think AI has it's own version of that with "You made that song your own." It has to pop up once a show...and thankfully Neil Sedaka had the honor of saying it last night

Oh I definitely think that Simon's comment about Clay's maturity in taking criticism was aimed at Josh. Maybe a little more happened during the commercial break? Really at the end of the show, Josh looked like he wanted to kill someone when they were all standing there.

Ahh excuse me...grandmas aren't the only fans of Wayne Newton. I've been known to throw boxer shorts on stage too. C'mon, no one can sing "Danke Schoen" like Wayne. Well, except Matthew Broderick in Ferris Bueller, but then he was just lip-syncing to Wayne's recording anyway.

OK I just want to add something that I noticed about the entire Simon/Josh deal last week. I for one thought that it was very distasteful of Simon to make fun of Josh about how he can't face his marine corp anymore after having to do the *hair colouring thing*. I say this for 2 reasons:

1) That crap is put on by AI - Simon just totally bashed the show that gives him his paycheck

2) The idols are under contract, Josh didn't look all that thrilled to be doing the hair thing to me either - but I know that they are forced to promote this stuff 'cause of the show (like coke and ford)

So...I think Josh's problem with AI goes a little deeper then him *not liking Simon* (yes I saw that in him as well) Im pretty positive that he hates a lot more then just Simon about the show. I mean how much do WE make fun of those stupid commercials? I can only imagine how dreadful it would be to do one...

Josh and Trenyce on the bottom tonight, and I think Josh will go home.

Loved Clay's performances last night, and regardless of whether or not you like his style, he gives us a great performance time after time. Lots of performers who are not mainstream (Wayne Newton, Barry Manilow) capitalized on their lack of "Pop-stardom" and are laughing all the way to the bank.

Kimberly has really stepped it up in the last few shows, but I think it will come down to Clay & Ruben in the end.

Teehee, I never thought my being banned from another board would throw me into a harem. :::::::taking notes:::::: So, when you get banned on this board, do they just ban your username, or your IP address as well? Not that I have any intentions of getting banned, since my last (and only) banning still stings a little.

I appreciate the welcome. I'm from outside of Kansas City, Missouri. OT mentioned camping to you, Miss Jasmine, because he knows that my family is planning our first camping trip to Disney this coming August, and I commented that there isn't much that goes on on the Camping Forum.

Blue (can I call you Blue?) those words never last long 'round these parts. Higgs said the same thing - claimed he only started to watch the show because his DW does (yeah right - we all know that the truth is that he was memorized by Clay's voice, looks, and overall aura)

...and if you still don't watch - just do what jwill does (you couldn't possibly do worse then him) - pick anyone...go ahead - pick one (your luck really isnt better then anyone else's just cause we watch the show...we suck at this) kinda like pickin in a football pool...

My experience has been staying at a cabin in Ft. Wilderness, not actually camping. It's been a while since I last really camped (it was a cool canoeing/camping trip - ummm not Disney related). Anyway, I can handle some Ft. Wilderness questions. I really enjoyed it there and will stay there again sometime.
