I think I'm doing okay. I'm the team Heidi and the Jets Anyone who gets the reference gets a bonus . It helped that I added those two girls that got naked from the previews the previous week.

As far as who I'd like to see voted off and who I think will be voted off - I'd like to see Cory go. I'm a big Smoey fan and sorry but, Cory is no Smokey Robinson. In reality, I think it will be either Kimberly Locke or Julia. I love how someone on the other thread described her shuflle as the Brady Bunch dance.

Yeah Bruce, many of us watch Survivor. It's more real than WWF wrestling!
We even have a WDWWDS tribe. BTW, Madonna plays and is a closet Survivor fan, but I hear her DH won't let her watch, the poor dear. Can you imagine what it must be like for her....dying to watch this great television program, but not able to? C'mon Madonna...tell us how much you want to see this show.

My name's Madonna and I'm a *need another TV in the house a-holic...* Yeah - we only have one TV in the house...sniff, sniff...so even if I WANTED to watch survivor - I couldn't 'cause...sniff, sniff...Friends is on at the same time...and...sniff, sniff...and I cant watch both shows at the same time...sniff...and I would rather watch Friends...sniff...(is there a downside to this?)

You know come to think of it...since I am in second - I no longer feel the need to have to watch the show! That might *jinx* me if I start following it...

Don't know what the bonus is...but here goes...
1) a veiled reference to the Elton John song "Benny and the Jets"
2) But the more likely reference is to the infamous "Heidi" game between the Jets and the Raiders where the television network (NBC I believe) cut away from an apparent blowout to begin the show "Heidi" on time...much to their chagrin...the Jets staged a comeback and won the game...but no one saw it on TV (and the network got more complaints then they could handle)...since then, it has been in the contract that all games will be carried to their completion....no matter what the score...

OK...that concludes the history lesson...we now return you to the WDW Water thread already in progress....

That just confirms my overall opinion of Kimberly C. There are names for chicks like that, but I don't think they're allowed on this board.

Which is why I say Julia is the best female on the show! She's got attitude, slightly cocky, doesn't mesh with the other contestants and looks like she doesn't care, she didn't do that oh so phony "me?? OMG, you're picking ME to go to Hollywood???" act when she got picked...she knew she did well and showed it, and she didn't take any crap when she got into the fight at the beginning. Hmm....sounds like she'd fit in around here.
But this is a great contrast to Kimberly C, who I think has talent, but is the biggest phony, suck-up kind of person. I don't like the other Kimberly cuz she said Simon "sucked" complete with the "you go girl" head shake. The Simon bashing IS getting old and at that moment I was reminded of a bad Jerry Springer show. And it looked like she was trying to gain public support by doing that. Carmen seems to be a solid sweet kid and most importantly is genuine, so in terms of personality I like her as much as Julia. She's like this years Kelly. But I think she falls short in the singing department. Vanessa seems to be forcing her eccentricities a bit, trying too hard to be "off the wall" and cute. Besides she really does remind me of Bette Midler and I don't like Bette. I like Trenyce too, but not much of her personality has come across yet.
In terms of looks, while she's certainly no Shania, Julia's ok and she looks good on camera. I'm still not entirely convinced she's sporting flotation devices either, especially after her reaction last night to Simon's comment. Err..no she can't dance though. And I'm not stupid....I won't critique anyone elses looks.
As far as singing talent...I think all the females have had their shaky moments as well as their "wow" moments. Strictly on singing, I do have to give the nod to Trenyce, but overall, for the ladies, I still say Julia.

I know I said I was done ranting about this....but I wanted to thank OT for putting my thoughts into words...it's almost a formula...every contestant must bash Simon...or else....

(in case you missed the show - none of the members of the WDWWDS had the correct person voted off although Jas/Kim/Higgs/Erika/Jwill and myself were the closest...)
