Oh my - sorry Jas!!! BTW I must agree with you...Ruben WAS awesome but just as they shouldn't sing the same songs week after week - they shouldn't wear the same clothes week after week... (I actually can not believe that Simon let a comment like that go...)

I've seen Julia better - so I am not giving up on her - YET...although I am starting to think that it might get down to 2 guys this time (as the male talent SURPASSES the female this time around...)

I really want to see Charles Grigsby voted off tonight - and I have a list of about 4 other people for the next 4 weeks.
Julia did not do well last night, as did Cory Clark, as did Carmen, and even Ricky wasn't up to his usual good stuff.
Ruben needs a new shirt, but he can sing to me anytime.
So that's my vote.

OK...believe it or not...I actually watched American Idol last night with my wife...and we couldn't figure out who was best....
Though we both liked the big guy who sang at the end (I will never get the names straight...the only one I can remember is Clay...thanks to Madonna ...I thought he sang well....)
Are we voting people off, or are we voting for a winner?
If we are voting people off...I say (along with my wife)...the woman who sang first with the flames going off behind her...
1) I agree with Simon...it did look like a Burger King commercial
2) Flames are not cool right now...still too soon after RI nightclub fire (I know she didn't pick it...but I'm ranting here)
3) I just didn't like her voice

as for a winner...the girl with the bright red hair (dye job)...the one they compared to Bette Midler...I liked her personality...

But...you all know this is a fix job...the winner has already been decided...it's going to the Marine, I believe his name is Josh???
I mean, come on...the U.S. is on the brink of war...it's inevitable that they will rig it so the clean-cut Marine (with a wife and kid, no less) is named the American Idol...it's a PR dream...you watch...it'll happen...and remember who said it first!

Wow, someone don't let Higgs watch AI anymore. Lets see, I never thought about the fire thing with Kimberly L., though I don't live in that region, so maybe that's why. I had to agree with Simon about the Burger King thing.

As for Josh, hey if he wins he wins. Remember America is voting, and according to the more liberal press, we are all anti-war. Personally I think it would be very fitting. But I guess cuz he comes with a full package (Marine, married, kid, seems like a nice guy) he should be punished. And I think we have all already thought that it would be a PR dream.

BTW...If I had to vote for one person to be forcibly removed from that show...it would be that ANNOYING HOST!!!
I don't even want to wast brain cells remembering his name...my wife and I spent most of the show actively wishing for a light fixture to come crashing down on his head...
I would also say Paula Abdul as well...but she is just kinda pathetic...it's like, "Hey remember me? I used to have a career...now all I have is this..."
She is one step away from having a sign that says "Will sing "Forever Your Gilr" for food"
I mean...who's next to judge these shows? Tiffany??? (and if you don't know that reference...then you missed the 80's....)
