Do they really only give you 24 hours to reply to their outreach notifying the winner? I thought I read that somewhere.

I hope not. Wife and I are on a mini vacation on Marco Island right now and if the package is sitting back home, on the doorstep, in the snow, I'd be mad!

Time to send the parents over to check on the house and any packages!!

In 2008 my family was eating a fast dinner in McDonalds after skating practice. My hubby had a Big Mac. I will always remember that Big Mac! The Monopoly contest was running and we won $25, 000. It was so funny because we didn't believe it at first but my hubby asked me "what if this is the real deal?" I laughed and said "then we are going to Disney World"

Sure enough it was legit. We did some kitchen renos, paid some bills and went to Disney World!!!

I've always wondered how those monopoly pieces work for the winners- did you have to figure out it was the 'rare' piece in the property set, or was it just an "Instant Win" type of thing?

I was wondering the same thing. We've got a mini-vacation scheduled for this weekend and will be gone for 3 days. Hopefully there's some wiggle room in there because I'm sure there'll be a package waiting for us when we get back.

For the 2012 OMDD sweepstakes, I received my Fedex (with no prior notice) at home on Presidents Day 2/20 & it said they had to receive it back by 2/23. I later found out the sweeps agency had some weird typo's in my email address, so who knows if they'd previously tried contacting me that way or not. Like another OMDD winner already posted, there were a lot of inconsistencies & many of us had varying experiences within the exact same contest, so it really is impossible to speculate on how they really do things

When I got home from work on Friday, I immediately checked the front porch. I had 2 very large shipping boxes from PetSmart waiting. I picked up the first box and sandwiched in between the 2 was a Fedex envelope. I almost passed out until I realized that it was from Hyundai. It was a $500 Disney gift card though.

I picked up the first box and sandwiched in between the 2 was a Fedex envelope. I almost passed out until I realized that it was from Hyundai. It was a $500 Disney gift card though.
