I booked my stay on the website but I am unable to pay with gift cards on the website. It keeps giving me an error. Is there a 800 number to call? I wish they would get the reservation part of the website working better. My dining reservations are never there but they say they are UGH!!
Is there an eaiser way to pay with gift cards other than calling?
Thanks
leAnne

Used to be an 800# - no more. Most everyone has long distance on their phones now. :goodvibes

yeah we dropped long distance at home when cell phones took over...but we still only get 450 min per month and for some reason I don't feel this will be a short call going over 20 gift cards. I just wish it could be done online
Thanks!!

If you have a house phone with local calling or you can take incoming calls, you can get a google voice account and make your local home number the default google voice number. Then on the google voice web page you dial the number for WDW and it will call them and transfer the call to your home number. So in effect your phone company will see it as an incoming call. I think that was the original intention was to give long distance access to those who could not afford long distance calling. I have never done it as i have an Ooma system that uses the internet connection. Since my system is so old it does not cost me a penny for phone service. New accounts only pay the cost of the federal taxes.

DIsneyworld does not have a toll free number but I can tell you that I redeemed 15 gift cards on my last call for payment and I was on the phone 45 minutes from start to finish (little or no wait time to get to a CM). I have a cell phone though so long distance is included.

I've used gift cards to make an online payment as recently as August. I wonder if they've changed things or if the system is just being wonky today?:confused3

Try emailing them and seeing if they will do it "over the email". Requires manual intervention (aka sneakernet, between the email computer and the reservations computer) at their end. and also some back and forth between you and the reservationist(s) over a period of hours.

Is anything (dining, etc.) solid enough to be seen and print-screened* at your end?

* Requires more than just pressing the Prt-Scn button.
