Wdw Tickets

3 of us are going wdw in Mar. Need to buy 3 tickets. Anyone else needing 3 tickets could share on the buy one reg price 2nd 50% off saving both parties $$ this way.

Also need to know if anyone has stayed at Quality Suites Maingate East or Days Suites Maingate East. Are these nice places or should we look elsewhere. Definately want a Suite. Thanks for your help

My first visit we stayed at the Days Suites. I would definitely look elsewhere. The rooms were run down, service terrible and pool unusable. Second trip stayed at the Villas of Somerset down the road a little, We booked through Holiday House it was 2 bedroom, full kitchen, laundry room two bathrooms, fantastic! Plus was affordable, we paid 134/nt Cdn. Whatever property you choose I can't stress enough -- STAY AWAY from Days Suites!!!

We stayed at the Quality Inn suites maingate about three years ago. If you check the internet sometimes you can get a $69/night for a two bedroom suite. It was fine for us - clean and no bugs. They have a pretty nice pool and continental breakfast. With the savings there and my mother got us tickets from sears travel at par for a 7day park hopper it saved us alot of money. You can also get the same rate with the florida travel package you call for on tv. We are camping at fort wilderness this year or I would not hesitate to stay at Quality Inn Suites.By the way the suite has two bedrooms with two full beds - two bathrooms kitchenette and small living room we had plenty of room and my mom had a room to herself.

Thanks. We have decided to stay the Quality Suites Kissimmee. Prices are a little higher now but I keep checking the net to see if they are coming down at all and if they do I'll request the cheaper rate. Are leaving Mar 17th for 2 weeks. Will keep you posted as to how it compares now to when you were there 3 yrs ago. This will be our first time staying there but not our first time at dwd. lots of good Cdn at Par deals for us now. We are going to the Luau at Seaworld which is offered at Par as well.

Thanks to Sherry (cwrbc) we saved $100 on WDW tickets!

Sherry and I realized we had similar situations. She needed three tickets and so did we (ds is only 2, so no ticket needed). So Sherry and I meet at Disney Store to buy our tickets together. She bought her adult and one child ticket (for my dd) at half price and we split the difference! We both saved $100! We were totally upfront with DS about our transaction. Sherry remember to ask about the Survey, so DS gave us both a survey so now we both get a free gift at AK! Without Sherry and these boards, we would have had to pay full price for dd's ticket and missed out on the survey gift! THANKS SHERRY! Have a wonderful trip! Saving $100 is a great way to start vacation.

A 4 Day Hopper Pass for dh, dd and me would be $907.00
The Canadian Deal 7 Day Hopper Pass cost us $1041.00 PLUS WE CAN A CHARACTER MEAL!!!!!!

The different is $134.00 more for a breakfast, 3 extra park days and 2 extra option days! WHAT A DEAL! Say you took the breakfast away at a cost of $75.00 ~ that's only $59 EXTRA for 5 MORE WDW DAYS! WHOA! THANKS SHERRY! Have fun! Sandra

Hi Emmalgin...

Sorry but I got my tickets by splitting the buy 1 get 2ND 1/2 price with Sandra just yesterday.
I am going Mar 17th and if for some reason I don't use all 7 days I'll find out at DWD if you could use the balance. Which if there is any would probably be only 1 day. if that's the case I'll be more than happy to send you the ticket. Can't guarantee anything right now but will let you know when I get back on the 31st of March.

I am so excited, I can hardly wait to get to DWD.

Keep me posted if you get tickets or not. In the meantime I'll keep and eye out for anyone that might have 2 days to sell.

Thankyou cwrbc. I am also in Toronto. The tickets are supposedley non-transferable yet people are selling them on ebay.

It is up to you. I will pay. I posted earlier with the question. I do like WDW, however I find these specials somewhat disingenuous. I bought a companion ticket years ago, not knowing they expired and found there was no way to use all 7 days when you are there for only 7-8 days. I also read that Florida residents can buy a 4-day hopper for $99....... So we pay the freight from Canada with our lousy dollar.....

I will also be going to Universal and Sea World, so I may only go to Disney 2 days.

MY DAUGHTER IS PLANNING ON 7 DAYS BUT I THINK WE WILL PROBABLY ONLY BE THERE 6. WE HAVE 13 DAYS. 2 AT UNIVERSAL, 1 BUSCH GARDENS, 1 BLUE JAY SPRING TRAINING, 1 BEACH, 1 SEAWORLD AND LUAU AND 6 DISNEY AND FOR SURE I NEED ONE TO SHOP TILL I DROP. You do know there is the Sea World 2-day pass at Par through CAA. Buy tickets in advance.... I went there last time with kids 3 and 5 and they loved it. Used the second day for about 3 hours, but it allowed spouse some time to herself. There is also I think Universal at Par (no expiry).

Anyhow have a great trip.

thanks, Yes I found out about the Cdn at Par for both Universal & Seaworld. We bought both. The Luau at Seaworld is also being offered at Par so we are planning that as well.
