WDW Snacks - Give Me Your Must Haves

You guys are awesome‼️
I will be writing your suggestions down and taking them with us.
We are excited to try fun new things. :stitch:

I LOVE snacking around WDW
AK: even though it's a QS, maybe just try one thing from Satuli canteen, like split some cheeseburger pods. (Satuli is our go to every trip for food. The bowls are so good.) The lumpia and night blossom drink from the stand in Pandora are also good
ALso loved the pulled pork mac/cheese from Eight Spoon-when it's open

MK-I used to love the cheeseburger spring rolls. They are good, but quite pricey.
I enjoyed my funnel cake from Sleepy Hollow, and hope to try one of the waffles soon, read such good things about them
I love tots/fries w stuff on them, so I enjoy the variations of tots at Friar's nook

Epcot: If we're there during a festival, we are sampling from the food booths. Look up some menus ahead of time, and plan to try as much as possible. We love all the festivals!
everything at Les Halles, in France. But especially the creme brule, napoleon, duo du chocolat, but sandwiches are good too
and the caramel bar at Germany

HS-Ronto wrap! all day. I enjoy blue milk, it's refreshing, but a bit pricey for what you get
Have heard good things about the wookie cookie, but haven't tried it.

There are almost always some seasonal dessert or special item scattered around. I'm not a fan at all of the cupcakes, so we skip those. Ditto the ice cream.

Snacking is SO much fun at WDW!! Enjoy!!

@slo :offtopic: I can't help on the snacks part, but did you know that if you are in the Mighty Ducks section of ASMo, it's as close to walk over to the bus stop/dining hall at ASMusic as it is to Movies?

How about some Kakigori at the little Kabuki Cafe in Japan?

We had that on our trip last September, when it was hotter than the surface of the sun...I mean *really* hot. It was soooo refreshing! If you walk towards the back of the Japan pavilion there's a little seating area with some shade that not too many people use. We sat there and rested while enjoying the Kakigori.

Thanks again everyone - very much appreciated :goodvibes :goofy:

Not sure if they still have either of these

Main Street USA use to have homemade cookies with ice cream like an ice cream sandwich. They were amazing

And over in Tomorrowland they had iced coffee floats.

Hmm also the big soft pretzels with cheese.
Anything caramel in Germany….
French pastries in France…

We like a lot of the things that have already been mentioned. (And of course you and I talked about the beignets at POFQ already!)

I don’t know if they still have it but the dole whip pineapple upside down cake was really good.

My DS always gets an apple strudel in Germany.

I love a frozen chocolate covered banana at Animal Kingdom.

Can’t wait to hear about your trip!

We just did this. We got back Sunday! My (turned 19 on the trip) daughter didn't want a lot of ADRs. She wanted to "snack around the world."

Our go-to snack is the Mickey-shaped ice cream bar. (DD tried the frozen banana this time for something different, but decided the mouse bar is better.) We also tried a lot more "savory snacks" than we usually get.

Some favorites:
Animal Kingdom -- the street corn street tacos from Smiling Crocodile (comes with two small tacos and tortilla chips/salsa. We split an order as a snack) and the fries from Mr. Kamal's.

Hollywood studios -- The zucchi wrap from Ronto Roasters (we split one as a snack) and the sweet+spicy popcorn mix from Kat Saka's Kettle. (The zucchi wrap was probably my favorite thing we ate all trip.)

Magic Kingdom -- we finally tried the hamburger egg rolls from the Adventureland Spring Roll Wagon that I've heard about for years. I have to admit that I was not excited to try these because they didn't sound good to me, but DD wanted to try them. They were surprisingly tasty. Pineapple Dole Whip is also a family favorite -- but this trip we tried both the pineapple at Aloha Isle and the orange from Sunshine Tree Terrace. I think we like the orange even more than pineapple.

Epcot -- there's no shortage of snacks here! On her actual birthday we made it our goal to get "a little something" from each country in the World Showcase. Our favorites were the barbacoa empanadas from the margarita stand in Mexico (they have cheese empanadas at Cantina de San Angel, too... and we tried both, but both of us liked the barbacoa ones better.) We also really liked the eplekake (apple cake) in Norway, and the maple popcorn in canada.

Photo of our snacks from the world showcase (the empanadas are the barbacoa ones. I forgot to take a photo of the cheese empanadas). And, that's the same girl who's in the baby backpack in my profile photo. Oh, how time flies! (The little boy in my profile photo graduates from college this weekend!)

You all are THE BEST‼️
Thank you :goodvibes

If you have a car we love to stop at port orleans French quarter for beignets. We always just tell the guard we are visiting for them and have never had a problem especially if you are staying on site elsewhere.

I do enjoy a Mickey bar as well as the caramel corn at Karamel-kuche in Epcot’s Germany. And soft serve ice cream is always welcome if I am there in hot weather.

This is actually going to be our first stop on our arrival day - Princess Tiana is DD19’s favorite princess and she REALLY wants to try the beignets
