WDW resorts at 7 mos

I am interested in finding out your experience in making ressie for a one BR villa in one of WDW resorts during Spring Break, Summer (June, July, August) and Christmans times at 7 months. I can guess the resorts toughest to get into are probably BWV and BCV. But what about OKW, VWL, or SSR? Thanks!

I have been able to get BCV at 7 months for late June and recently(last week ) for Christmas week for 1-bedroom with no problem; also got BWV 2-bedroom PV at 7 months in 2002(wanted SV, but had to use extra points for PV); have not tried VWL but have heard it is difficult for christmas season at 7 months;OKW(our home resort) we have gotten christmas and late april at last minute 5 months out for 1-bedroom. Hope this helps. By the way, we have never had to do a day-by-day reservation and I just have a pet peeve about them...don't feel they are necessary unless extreme cases, others will do this for all reservations- I don't think MS needs to be overloaded with these types of reservations. Have never had to do it since 1994.

Just made ressies for 11-26-2004 thru 11-30-2004 in a Studio.
1st 3 nights at VWL and the last at SSR.

Wanted a "Feature Pool"for our DGS so in order of preference I asked for BCV, BWV, VWL or SSR. Could not get a studio at any of these for all 4 nights. But a 1 BR was available at some, don't remeber which though. Did not check OKW, 2 weeks ago there was availablity for all types at OKW for the above dates.

So seeing as these dates are almost as popular as spring break, your chances should be good at the 7 month window.

At about 6 months out I made ressies for OKW (studio) for the 1st week of December. Last May/June my friend and I went to OKW on about 6 weeks notice and got a room no problem
