I just checked my e-mail and received a "passholder e-mail"

It says:

In addition to enjoying the adventure, you will receive a complimentary Expedition Everest lanyard and pin at the attraction as a memento.*

Actually it's for both. They are doing AP and DVC preview the same weekend (I received email about both.) And yes. I am totally up for a VMK meet

off topic question, but how much doe an annual pass cost? Do you need to live in florida or Cali to buy it? I am assuming since its an annual pass you can use it as a park hopper too?

Yes, Annual Passes are park hoppers You don't need to live near a park to buy one, you can buy it in advance, where you'll receive a voucher to exchange when you get to a park.

If you live in florida, or have family there, they can buy the ticket and it becomes even cheaper. If i have a grandparent but an annual pass, she doesnt activate it, and gives it to me, will that work? I cant believe more people dont exploit this annual pass.

Yes if YOU live in Florida. No if it is your family that lives there. You have to have proof of residency when purchasing the Annual Pass, your name is on it and periodically, they ask for proof at the gate.

So, this won't work for the above reason. Your grandparent can buy the ticket, but you wouldn't be able to use it.

However, if you have DVC, you can also buy DVC discounted passes -- I think for a regular annual pass (not premium) it's about $100 off. In order to take advantage of that, you need to be listed on the DVC contract, as I understand it. (I have DVC but I'm the only one on the contract so I didn't look very far into that)

If you know a CM, they can also buy CM discounted annual passes, that anyone can use - no restrictions, you just need to have the CM buy the voucher at the cast store.

Well Saturday the 28th is looking real good for me to go. Does Saturday work for everybody? I say we meet-well I am not sure somewhere near the ride in Animal Kingdom? Around 10:00 AM?

Saturday night we can party with Jellyrolls at Jellyrolls!

Oh and I would be happy to ride with StarWarsKid.
