We are planning our summer trip (July 2019).
Does anyone know when (& if) Disney releases discounted packages or promos?

I think a summer free dining offer was out back in the winter but is no longer available. I think a sun&fun offer may have closed recently as well. There is currently a room-only discount that can be booked with a package. I don’t know if anything else will be released for this summer or not, but room-only discounts are more common than package offers. Mousavers.com maintains a list of when discounts have been offered over the years, so you might check what’s been offered in the past.

You missed the boat here.

This year the free dining and room rate discounts came out in January and at least free dining ended in February.
Room rate may have gone on longer but I think its closed now as well.
The travel dates for those discounts were July 5th through September 30th.

There may or may not be any more discounts coming out for summer.

Yes, you’re a little late for a trip this summer. And with free dining going in then it’s going to be very hard to get dining reservations this late. You FP date will be sometime next month so you may want to make sure you have your reservations and tickets soon.

We were lucky to be able to get many table service ADR's, so that was good.

If your not able to get any discounts you may be able to rent DVC points. You'll probably only be able to get OKW or Saratoga but they are both nice resorts. Renting a studio is often cheaper than a standard room. Have a great trip.

The ONLY thing I see now is room only discounts and those only go up to May 27th. There's a FL resident promotion still going too, but that's probably not much good to you. You definitely would have needed to have been looking sometime back in December or January. I remember the FL resident discount came out in January and that's when I booked. You're going to want to get a room soon though so you can book FPs 60 days out. Much better chance of getting the headliners that way.

I was able to snag a pretty good rack rate ($230ish) for Caribbean Beach Resort for two nights in August. No packages though.
