Well DH and I both have a week off this spring/summer. Where should we go? We went to WDW 3/21-25th for a quick trip and had a great time. We were planning on going to Disneyland/CA for 2 nights and San Diego 6 nights to visit family but figured it out and it will be the same $$ to do WDW again for a week (we have AP's). It will also be about the same $$ to do Punta Cana all-inclusive since I am a travel agent. We are going to Playa del Carmen, Mexico in October. Then again should we just save the $$:)

I LOVE WDW, so I am a bit biased. However, have you been to Disneyland? I've been to both (Paris too!) and I enjoy seeing the different one's just to make the comparison. The thing I find most striking about Disneyland (havent been in a few years) is that it is is the middle of town! I think the monorail goes over a regular street. There is not nearly as much to do, but I had a good time. I say give it a try for the new experience (especially since you were at WDW last month!). That is my vote! Have fun in whatever you choose.

That's why I would say WDW there might not be a lot to do but with WDW you can stay a whole moth and still not do everything!!

But if if you went to Disney Land you could see your family which would be great. ( I probably didn't help you :( )

SEE YA LATER!!!

We visited Disneyland in 2000 and loved it. CA and their version of Downtown Disney was not open yet so those would be new to us. Fantasmic and the fireworks were down too so maybe we would get to see those this time. Tough choices:)

We did Disneyland last year and wdw the year before. I personally prefer WDW, but it was fun to do Disneyland. My reason for prefering WDW is that it is more of a resort - in addition to all the park stuff to do, I just find the relaxation and restaurant choices better. As we have young children, we are not to into the nightlife action.

That being said, if you don't have kids along (you didn't say), you might have more fun at Disneyland. California Adventure has some really fun thrill rides that we couldn't take advantage of. And, Downtown Disney is fun at night. The restaurants in Downtown Disney are good, but the park restaurants aren't great. We stayed at the Disneyland Hotel and found the pool way too crowded, but that was August.

If you do have young children and decide on Disneyland, definitely go to Legoland in Carlsbad near San Diego. It's really different and fun.

I am kind of leaning towards WDW but I LOVE it there:) I will have to see what DH thinks. He is pretty open to whatever. We would be visiting his sister and my sister (if she can take time off from Pheonix, Az) in San Diego though so we may want to see them.

I vote for Disneyland...mainly because you haven't been before and it is pretty cool! We have been twice since DCA and Downtown Disney opened. One thing that I really like is that you can WALK between resorts, themeparks, Downtown Dis. There was PLENTY to keep us occupied for 4 days each trip. Disneyland opened prior to DCA each morning, and we would go to DL for a couple of hours then WALK over to DCA for its opening, thereby experiencing each park at opening with NO LINES on the SAME DAY! Verrrryyy nice.

Also, the "middle of town" feel is pretty much gone since the new additions have been added. It has much more of a resort feel now.

We have no kids so it would just be DH and I. We may be moving to Orlando next spring too so maybe we should do Disneyland since we will probably spend a LOT of time at WDW soon:)

Come down to Florida and visit us at WDW! We can't wait to make your stay a magical one!!!!

My top three choices would be in this order: WDW, WDW or WDW. I do love San Diego though. It is my second favorite vacation place. We used to go to Disneyland every year until we discovered WDW. Haven't been back since.
