Hi all I'm always very conscious of putting personal information on an app, but I would love to take advantage of the online check in.

Do you know what information is requested when you do online check are the passport numbers and cc requested or can they just be shown at reception although will that slow down the process?

You definitely do not enter passport information at any time in the Disney website.

You have the option to add cc information. I don’t think it is mandatory though. I’m not positive though as Disney is one website that has my cc info as I charge back to my room with my MB when there.

I believe the cc information is required if you wish to skip the front desk upon arrival. You do have the option to do the rest of online check in and stop by the front desk with your payment of choice. I figure whether I enter the cc at home or they enter the cc at the resort, my cc is going to be in their system so I put it in as part of online check in. Since companies are required to truncate cc numbers for security purposes, I figure the fewer people who see my actual card, the better.

There is really very little information to enter for online check in, since they already have your name and address on file. They ask about arrival time, there are some generic room requests you can check off, the cc info, and the ability to add a PIN for charging back to the room. I think that’s all, other than some terms and conditions to read and agree to.
