DH, DD ( 1 and 3) and myself are going to the WDW for the 1st time (we have been to disneyland in 1996). We will be staying at CBR for the entire duration.

Well, with so much to see and to do, we know we have to do some careful planning given the amount of time we have.

1. I wonder if it is wise to take advantge of the EMH cos I read some revies that the parks are extremely crowded on the EMH day? MK has the most to see and do (especially for my 3 yr old), is Sun or Thurs a better timing to go?

2. It appears that MGM and Ecopt can be done in 1 day if we are only targeting attractions suitable for young children? Is there a 3 day hopper pass?

Anyone care to give some ideas how we should schedule our visits to the parks?

3. All the fireworks are shown pretty late, are there any other locations (away from the park) where we can get a resonable view of them?

4. We are looking for unique themed restaurants ( tasty food too!) So far we identified Boma (seems exotic) and considering Ohana as they have been given good feedback. Any others to recommend? ( We are not into Character dining.) Can we make reservation when we are there or advance is a must??

5. If we leave the park for nap and return in the late afternoon or early evening, is it difficult to get a parking lot??

1) EMH works great if you get there when it opens and leave around 11A when it starts to get crowded. Go take a midday break then and then do another park that doesn't have EMH.

2) I can't answer this, but www.allearsnet.com has info on the different hoppers available.

3) The fireworks at Epcot can supposedly be seen from Martinique village beach at CBR. I think you said you are staying there.

Magic Kingdom is a madhouse after the fireworks. You can see them, however, from right outside the park while waiting for a bus back to your resort. We did that once (accidentally as we didn't intend to see fireworks.)

4) There are great "unique" restaurants in Epcot. It worked pretty well for us to do a little Epcot late afternoon before dinner, a little more after dinner when we went with our kids the last time. Check out www.allearsnet.com for menus.

5) The internal bus system is okay. While you might save time driving to MGM or Epcot or AK, you probably won't save time driving to MK. You have to park at the TTC for MK, take a tram to the monorail and monorail to MK. If you take the bus to MK it drops you off right at MK.
