WDW in summer, will I regret it?

Another plus - Value season for the resorts starts on July 5! Maybe you'll save lots of money!

Our family always travels to WDW in June/July due to school for the kids, but it has never been a problem. We love the fact that the park hours are long, and while the crowds are more concentrated, with proper planning, you'll be fine. Use EE and FP, and don't forget the mid day break. We don't let the heat become a problem; we drink lots of water and use sunscreen and try to take advantage of the AC'd attractions as much as possible. Enjoy your trip. (We can't wait for ours).

I've done the summer. If you don't mind sweating, then it's fine. Try to take breaks during the middle of the day. Go swimming! Also, try to build in shows or cooler rides (Small World) into your schedule to recover from the heat. Also, try to avoid lines in the sun (Dumbo, Indy Speedway). The character greetings at the Toon Town Fair give a great chance to cool off. I also think that Epcot and MGM are good summer parks. Lots of chances to sitdown and cool off. Of course, the water parks are a must.

We were there for 10 days in August this past summer. Our 2dd's danced in the Magic Kingdom with their dance class! If they made it thru that, I figured we could beat the heat walking around the parks!!It rained almost everyday(some more than others)which forced us into an afternoon break. To cool off sometimes we would walk thru the airconditioned stores! We also went in November and even though the sun was still very hot, no humidity made a big difference! But the heat couldn't have been to bad as we are going back in July for 7 days!!:sunny:
