WDW in ONE day--- best decision ever!!

I posted recently that I decided to go down for basically a day since my father, brother, and nephews were down for the week and my DH happened to be down there for business!!!

My DH and I stayed at the Hilton near DTD-- really nice but I missed being on property!! The rest of my family stayed at BCV.

Well.... we had a blast!!!!!!!!!!! My nephews are 9 and 11 and sooooo much fun. I was only in FL for about 36 hours, but it was so worth it. I got to see the "Dancing Lights" at DHS. We hopped between DHS and AK. Lines were not bad at all--- it was a bit cold but our last visit was in June so I am not complaining Had a great lunch at Brown Derby-- great food!!!

We made memories I will never forget!!!

I keep trying to talk DH into driving 8 hours each way over a 3 day weekend. Between APs, DVC points, and $60 rooms at POP...it would be so inexpensive.

I say do it!!! Having the AP's is really what made it an easy decision for us! I really was apprehensive but it was well worth it.

glad you had a great time! I know how fast a week goes at WDW, so 36 hours must of felt like a blink!

In Oct. I flew out to DL for basically the same amount of time, TOTALLY WORTH IT!
