Though Resurrection Sunday falls later this year, many public schools are still on their Spring break in March. Even our private schools are taking Spring Break in March because the holiday is too late in the year.

We've been able to go once in March. We lived in Texas and went during Spring Break (second week in March for Texas) in 2007. What I remember is feeling a bit cool. LOL. I have photos of my family all wearing lightweight jackets in the morning in MK. I think that because we lived in Houston, which has similar weather to Orlando...it just didn't feel very warm yet. For us, it wasn't swimming weather...we didn't really WANT to get wet on Splash Mountain, etc. We wore shorts (we rarely wore anything else all year) and the weather was very comfortable.

The cooler weather was lovely for touring the parks. It did rain at least once. I have photos of us in ponchos, but not like the summer rains.

I don't recall the crowds being worse or better than subsequent summer visits in various weeks in June, July and August. Like always...I think it's important to get to the park early and be sure to hit your must dos earlier than later.

The last time I went during Spring break was in March 2011. It was very busy that year. The line to get a fast pass for Safari in AK stretched past Tusker House and this was in the morning. Previous Spring break trips had not been so busy, but I don't know how busy the last 2 Spring breaks have been. I haven't been back at this time of year because 2011 was so very busy. But, I'm sure I'll go some other time during Spring break since some of my family can only travel at certain times of the year.
The weather was very nice in March. Highs were probably in the mid to upper 80s.

This was my experience as well.
