I would like to have a couple baskets sent to our resort for my kids upon arrival. Anyone use WDW Florist and have a basket delivered to resort for your child? Any ideas of what kid baskets they have or what to put in baskets for a 2 and 5 year old?
Thank You!:)

I used WDW Florist this past March and had a "Whale of a Pail" delivered for my 3 yo DS. It was a Big sand pail with a large Mickey Shovel, a sailor's hat, sunglasses, blow-up beach ball, small hand games (mini pinball type), 2 small bottles of water and some Disney themed snacks. I think I paid about $35, I can't remember exactly. My DS loved the gift, he thought Mickey sent it to him!

They have other gift baskets that included autograph books and pens, mickey ears, stuffed animals, etc. They are very helpful, give them a call. Here is the number 407-827-3505.

I used the WDW florist to send my husband a snack basket for our anniversary trip. I wasn't nuts about the named basket selections they had, so I worked with a cast member to have a custom basket created. I spent $75, and they sent him a HUGE (I mean really, really ridiculous) picnic bsket with cookies, crackers, cheese, chocolate, champagne...never has $75 gone so far at WDW!! My point - they will work with you to get you what you want!! We still have some of that food in our cupboard...

By the way, my husband sent me a huge arrangement of roses and calla lilies to match my bridal bouquet, and they did a fabulous job with that, too.

Good luck!

My wife used the WDW florist to send a champagne basket with engraved Mickey and Minnie glasses for her father's honeymoon a couple of years ago. It was waiting for them when they arrived. Very nice, but a bit pricey (it was at WDW though). Can't help with ideas for the kids, but the service we got was great if that's any consolation.

Do they have a web site to see what is available? My Mom and Dad are taking my son and nephew in June I would like to have something waiting for them at the hotel. Yes, they are wonderful grandparents. :D

If you call them, they wil fax you a price list and descriptions. Pictures aren't that great, but gives you some idea.

I really like "whale of a pail" I think that would be great for my 2 year old. I think I will have them put something together for my 5 year old.

Disneycrazymom, the don't have a website but you can call them.

Greg, that sounds like it was a nice basket! Champagne and engraved glasses!

Just a little tip... don't have the basket delivered on your arrival day. I had scheduled delivery for our arrival day, when we checked into CSR we were upgraded to junior suites (yah!). My DS pail was delivered to our room on the second day but I had also ordered a basket of cheer for my Mom who was staying in a different room when I called to check on the status of her basket, we found out that both baskets had been delivered to our originally assigned rooms. The folks who received the pail returned it to the front desk, the ones who received my Mom's gift kept it for themselves! So my mom's basket took 2 and half days to get to her and by then it wasn't a surprise.

MNT568, Good Point. I just called Poly Concierge and they suggested I have it arrive the day before our arrival (addressed to a CM in concierge) and this way they would have it all set up in the room for the kids upon arrival. Thanks for all your help/suggestions!:)
