Wdw Confessionals!!

*Gasp* I let DS8 take his shoes off and walk around.. We were admonished by 2 CMs and I totally understood the dangers and rationale of wearing shoes in an amusement park. And I let him do it anyway :teeth:

(Ds is autistic and kept taking his shoes off. I had already retrieved them 4-5 times and I was afraid we would lose them altogether. So I tied them to his w/c-stroller and let him go in sock-feet. I challenge anybody to try to talk an autistic child into wearing something he doesen't want to wear. I pick my battles  )

Did that work? They kept wanting to see our room key everytime we were parking at the parks this time, even with the parking pass on the dash.

They didn't park at the parks, only at our hotel. They would just come over in the morning and we would ride the bus to the park as a family.

I've reused mugs from one trip to the next, but to be fair, it was before there were explicitly-stated rules against it, and we'd been told by CMs at POR (then Dixie Landings) that it was OK. I've also taken an extra banana (and an apple!) from Chef Mickey's to have for snacks later. I guess if we start seeing electronic anti-theft devices on WDW produce now, you all will know who to blame.

I was raised by a mother who washed Ziploc bags, reused tinfoil, and saved plastic silverware. So it seems ingrained into me to do any and all money saving deeds.

:Pinkbounc High five, all you rule breakers!!! :Pinkbounc

When we were at Blizzard Beach recently, the CMs specifically said that a person could buy a refillable mug and then the whole family could share it. So that's not only allowed, but was actually encouraged.

Tigger&Belle,

Darnit, my one walk on the "wild" side turns out to be an innocent stroll! :rotfl2:

I shared my mug with my dd.

I dragged dd onto HM, even though she was clearly frightened and crying in line. I took her on it not once, but TWICE...purely for my own selfish reasons.

My DM has you beat I'm afraid..... As children she would make us stay at FW in a tent. (gotta love FL with no AC and sleeping on the ground.) Then she would take us to the Poly to swim (which was allowed back then in the late 70's-80's) but then she would go into one of the hotel wings and use trash bags to get free ice for our cooler each night. (Since they charged for ice at the FW general store.) She also would go find a mousekeeping cart and ask for shampoo and soap.

Needless to say my childhood was very embarrassing......
I think we have a winner! :lmao:

This thread is great!

Okay, now mine...DH and I have "faked" PS's to get into restaurants. Many times. :rolleyes1

I think you should have to sing or hum "It's a Small World" at least 5 times...that should do it!!

The inhumanity of it. If they are forced to do this as a penance, Id be calling the ACLU immediately. No one should be subejcted to that kind of punishement. JMO!

;)

It seems to be a debatable sin but.... I've used my fastpass after the return time printed on it. There, I've said it, Now can someone please send me to see Mickey to confess??

phhhhhht! who hasn't?

I sold my family's UPH passes on Ebay (they were given to all those affected by hurricane frances that were smart enough to ask for a refund ;) , to make up for the two days lost) and I got alot of money for them too :rolleyes1

Oh I have also sold the FREE vacation planning videos on Ebay as well. I am going straight to hell now. One sold for $20 :firefight

I can't think of anything to confess, but, man oh man, I'm learning some new tricks for our upcoming trip. :teeth:

I stand by and watch my DS put the soaps and shampoos (from our room only, of course) in his bag each day.

We like to keep them as little souvies for awhile.

I bring my own soap, shampoo and conditioner.

:rotfl: I've used mine from past trips... :rolleyes1 I didn't just say that, did I?

There have been a few times I just wanted in and out of MK, to buy a pin. That was when they were even sold at Expo Hall, just inside the MK.
There is no easy in and out to MK for almost all of us.
So we parked at the Poly, telling the guard we were going in for shopping. (We just did not say shopping where. ;) )
We rode the monorial to MK and back, with a pin purchase in between.
If only they sold the same pins at the TTC store. :cheer2:

March 2005 we had friends visit for a week who had a AAA Diamond pass. :yay: :yay: DH & I used it last year quite a few times. :rolleyes1 Life was good. :rotfl2:

And yes -- I have line looped to buy extra LE pins. I have not done it since January 1. And don't do it often. (Too expensive! :lmao: )
When I buy extras they are for pin trading buddies in other states. (I don't Ebay.)

My daughters each get $10 a day not to whine!

We always share mugs!

We used ap's of people who weren't with us to get extra fast passes and it worked!

DD wore her birthday pin one day at each park during her #7 b-day trip!

At WCC all of the kids ate some cornbread, even the one's who didn't have the "skillet"!

Oops! I guess I am a major rule breaker. Sorry! :sad2:
