It was too simple, "after you finished breakfast, go to the monorail, and go to the MK" (the husband & wife went to WDW when they were both in their teens, so their not totally clueless) They run their own business so they are kinda the delegate everything, make it happen people (that's where I came into the picture)

It's all OK though, I was just trying to keep them out of EP because it was the most crowded today, but if they got EP done, then they'll just have more time later in the week, (2 days allotted for each park) to complete MK

True commando, always able to go to the next plan and optimize it on a dime (even if it stops your heart for a moment)

Well here's the latest rumors

You might have read a while back that DTD was going to get a facelift, then it died out, now the rumor is back but a little different then the 1st time, IMO I think they indeed will redo DTD while the economy is still shaky, it only makes sense to do it while they can save some money with bids since companies would rather make a little less to keep them going and with a huge job such as this they will make up any money if it turns out well from other jobs that they will acquire, The current Disney Administration is very wise, they are spending a lot of cash on upgrades to the parks and properties, even though it's not a good economy, but they are saving, tens of millions or more and keeping people working This is something I believe will definitely happen

Princess meet & greet is rumored to open in Sept where Snow White used to be

I saw a couple more less then thrilling, got to drop everything and get right over to see them Limited Time Only events, This week Voices Of Liberty are singing and doing some President speeches (isn't that pretty much what they do anyway)

Also I see a chalk art festival as a upcoming week

With all these exciting events maybe the week I'm there The Businessmen Briefcase Brigade will be there

I'm just finding it hard to believe that a lot of the events are going over someone's desk to be approved

I really wanted to like this promo when they announced it, I thought it had endless possibilities, but it needs a WOW factor with maybe a little risk, something kids are going to want to do ( and bug you till they do it), something that you might have to change around some of your plans so you can go to it

I completely agree with you Ron, it has such great potential to be a much better promotion that it turned out to be. Even Redneck lawnmower races would be more exciting than the latest "Limited Time Magic" they are promoting for both WDW and DL.

It would be a disaster if the Dapper Dans did Back street boys! It's so wrong in so many ways! It's sad in a sense that they could have done so much more with this years promo than they did. It had so much potential to be so much more than what it ended up being. It's obvious that I've more imagination than they do, which is a sad, sad thing.

I can't tell one of those boy bands from another, but they made tons of money. Wish I had been smart enough to have been involved/ connected somehow. Then, I could live in Golden Oak and go commando daily to WDW.

I got to vent a little here, I wanted to buy 1000 shares of Disney stock about a year and a half ago when it wass in the $26 - 27 range, well after being talked out of it by my wife and family due to the economy and $27,000 would not be a wise investment, I got to thank all of them yesterday when I checked the stock price it was only $54 a share, and now I know why they all still work This is not the 1st time something like this happened

I have a couple things I've been watching for awhile, when it is time, I know now just buy it and don't say anything until it pays off I have to go with my gut feeling just like I do at the parks,I have a goal , to be retired by the time I'm 50 and I have a little over 6 years to do it

only 3842 hours till we go home to WDW, Ok that doesn't sound too exciting, only 160 more days till WDW, ok that still doesn't sound that great Cabin Fever setting in, it's getting depressing, need to cancel a few months between now and Aug, hey clock goes ahead a hour in a couple weeks, awesome making time already

If say the months of June & say July (get rid of the 4 letter months) got cancelled that would bring me like 61, 62 days closer, they cancelled Halloween this year in NJ so it could be done

My vote is for July & Aug, when it get's hot and humid!! I know the agony of the wait, as my DL solo trip is not till the end of Nov. It's turning into a Commando trip, as on Thurs I won 2 tickets to Knott's Berry Farm, which I now have to squeeze into my trip schedule somewhere. I've never gone to Knott's, so am looking forward to seeing it for the first time. I know nothing about it, so am doing alot of research on it via the net at the moment.
