WDW called, offered you a job

I've never had an interest in working for Disney. Now that I'm getting closer to college, people keep asking me why I don't do the College Program. I guess it would just ruin the magic for me.
Right with you on this. Don't get me wrong, I love the Disney company and the quality of service it offers. Heck, I even use the CM's approach to customer service with my own guests at my job as a hotel shift manager. I treat my visitors as valued guests, not just customers, in the same fashion that Disney has always treated me when I visit. But as far as working for the Disney company, I'd have to decline. I always want to see Disney from the outside looking in. :)

I love these threads.

In a perfect world, I would want to be Snow White. She has always been my favorite "princess" and she is so special in the grand scheme of Disney history. My daughter says I favor her too. However, I'm getting on up in years compared to the "Fairest one of all". So I don't think it would work out.

The second choice for my dream Disney job would be playing La Befana, the Christmas storyteller from Italy. Her story moves me to tears every time I hear it. And no worries about aging, since she is a witch. The older I get, the less make-up I would need. ;)

If I could have any job at Disney, I would want to work in Tomorrowland Attractions...Oh wait I already do lol.. ;) However after I finish college I really hope to work in a operations and planning related job somewhere in the company.

I love working with numbers and spreadsheets so my job would be behind the scenes planning and calculating, tracking data such as guest counts for park visits vs. hotel occupancy vs. meal reservations etc.

I would want to be one of the people that goes in after hours and sets up the decorations in one of the parks.

In an office - anywhere - doing some kind of "organizing".. I love to organize things - papers; schedules; purchase orders; etc..:goodvibes

I want to work on POTC loading and unloading guests and, and starting the ride.

I love the panel with all the buttons and lights, I just wanna press the buttons. :rotfl: and POTC is always cool at ride level

That or Photopass Photographer right before Wishes in front of the Partners Statue.

i'd want to be tinkerbell. i would not do parades. my role would be to walk around and spread pixie dust (that Disney paid for). i'd be quite generous , give kids free toys , treats, comp guests on dinners / ice cream , room upgrades, etc.

I wouldn't work for Disney, I would decline. Unless you are in a professional role, the pay is lower than say working at Universal or Seaworld. (from what I have heard). True story: DH interviewed to be a LAN computer hardware specialist in Magic Kingdom about 11 years ago. He would have been doing the computer work on attractions and such. The interview was interesting, but they even told him-- in that position, you have to deal with working on holidays, weekends, and deal with some of the park crowds and such. He got another offer and took it so had to say thanks but no thanks to Disney. On paper it was a dream job, but the pay even as a professional was lower than what he wanted .

I would work as a dolphin trainer with the dolphins in Epcot!!! What did you expect? :teeth:

work for the Disney Secret Police.

1. Run the kennel for the pets
2. Work at the check-in desk at the Grand Floridian
3. Plan Disney weddings

1. Cinderella in the spectro magic parade
2. Ariel in ANYTHING, but Fantasmic! would be cool
3. Belle in Beauty and the Beast stage show (although I can't sign or act)
4. A wedding planner for Disney
5. A wedding photographer for Disney

sorry that was a lot!

That is what I would love to do! Though I cannot act or sing either!

If salary weren't an issue, I'd just love to work inside POTC. It's my favorite ride because of the atmosphere, so being there all day would be fantastic. Not to mention a hell of a lot cooler (temperature-wise) than any job outside. :goodvibes
