WDW bus tracking

At one time, I think Disney experimented with having information signs at resort bus stops, maybe at only a couple of resorts like CBR, showing when the next bus was due for what destination. Does anyone know whatever happened to that? The technology is readily available and could be quite helpful.
Is there a thread on this forum or elsewhere about that?

They were still there in June.

My parents are there right now and they said that its at SSR.

AFAIK, they're at all resorts now (though not always working.)

And the times jump around a lot. That is typically due to the bus stopping and traffic, etc.
Since supposedly, the GPS reads real time.
In general I find the info on the signs to be mostly correct but it's not without error
And strangely, sometimes I've seen the signs working and working for all but 1 park. For instance, at the East Stop at POR. That one never displays a time for an Epcot bus. Does for all the others, just not that one. The South stop does.

I think that's a coding error in the route definitions. Probably the routes for traveling to the resort and from the resort are not linked together properly.

Definitely not without error. I was wanting to make it to MK for EMH morning (8am). I got to the bus stop (CBR) at 6:41 and the sign said 7:13. I was pretty bummed because I wasn't sure if that would give me the amount of time I was hoping for (never stayed at CBR before) to get through security/tapstiles and be where I wanted for the welcome show. I sat there mulling my sadness a bit when a couple of women came in and said perfect, just a couple of minutes. I tried not to get excited when I turned to the board (didn't for sure know what park they were going to). Sure enough, I turned around and the MK sign said 6:51. I turned back around and the bus was pulling up. I was so, soo happy. The idea of sitting for 30 minutes to start the day definitely had me a little down but having the board move in the positive direction (and the bus appear before that even) was pure happiness! I am glad I didn't take that 7:13 to heart because I did consider going back to the room.

I did not see them at POP in July. We were only there for two days, so maybe I missed it.
