WDW birthday benefit?...

So I know that WDW will give you a giftcard worth the price of admission on your birthday if you already have multi-day tickets, which we will when we visit.

Does anyone know what the giftcard is good for? Does it have stipulations?

I'd appreciate any info!

A friend of ours went spring break week. She and her son both had birthdays while there. She said the only limitation she was told was that you could not use it for dining. My parent's travel agent told them it had to be used only on the actual birthday, but they have not gone yet so I can't verify that. Our friend did not indicate that it had to be used that day only.

This is the first I've heard of a gift card. My friend went to MK for his on 3/22 and got the royal treatment. I'm guessing he may have gotten the card (instead of tix) just didn't mention it because....all 11 of the party got birthday fast passes (unlimited rides, unlimited time slots, hop on before reg FP) and they brought him dessert & sang to him EVERY time they ate. Of course he got the pin too so it often caught a CM's eye from time to time. Great & random things happened all day long. Man was I jealous when I found out!

wow I am surprised because the birthday fast passes are not unlimited and are only for an additional 5 people in your party.

Please read this liink for the official detials from Disney. We used in in Feb for my DD10 and you cannot use it for dining or select kiosks. We just asked at the places and found out if it could be used. We used it at a apparel shop in Adventureland and the remainder at the gift shop at our resort the next day.
