Having been inspired by Michelle.....we took some pictures going to the doctor's office and back this morning.

Yea, I guess you could say I live rural in the country. Definitely a far cry from living in New York City.

I just rented a movie called "The Happening". As usual, I've never heard of it, but it looks creepy....just the kind I love!

I love the pics Deb, and the countryside you live in. I wouldn't call that a street though, more a country lane. Is that US speak - like pavement? Your pavement is our footpath(sidewalk to you). Holly says she is going to mow her yard!!! There is no grass in our yards - just hard paving, very difficult to mow!!! That always sounds so funny.

Sorry if you've already answered, I'll catch up soon. But......No grass in your yard? Is that all over or just in your neighborhood? Sorry to sound clueless, I've just never heard of that. Even the houses in the city here have yards (just very small though). I think we all need a picture please!

Hi all ,I'm going to attempt to get caught up again! I was supposed to go out for dinner and on a shopping spree with my daughter last night....we both had bad days at work and had to work late . So we cancelled and will attempt to go out next Wed instead. I have requested a quote from my TA for both the EB and WB TA but am leaning towards the EB. Yes, it will probably be cooler But I didn't even finish reading one book our last cruise, so maybe I'll have more time to curl up with a coffee and book this cruise With our Canadian winters, I certainly don't lack in warm clothing I have the sun for the B2B in 2009 and we still have CC with the TA...so I'm thinking it will be okay!!!??

Gross and painful. I usually take a pain killer before each appointment, but I forgot to this time so it hurt a little more. The doctor called John to his side while examining. Of course, I can't see because the wounds are on the back of the calf on my right leg. So I have the leg up on the chair, knee down on the cushion while I'm standing on the floor next to the chair. Awkard position, but that's the easiest way for the doctor and nurse to do their job. So I'm only HEARING the doctor tell John, "push away the opening of the wound and get under the ridge and pour some iodine solution right into the opening." Oh My God, so gross. He wants to work on drying it out. The leaking is causing the infections.

Then the nurse talked to me about a hyperbaric chamber that they have there to use. It heals wounds faster. She said some people have open wounds for three years. OMG. I'm just past one year of this and I'm fed up. She said it's a two hour session once a day for five days for six weeks at $2k a pop. I said my insurance won't cover it. My insurance covers the idiot doctor that I went to in the first place, but not this doctor. I have to pay for him myself. I also have to pay for all of my materials to wrap the leg. My insurance does not cover it. I'm sure they wouldn't cover the hyperbaric chamber.......whatever that is. It sounds like I don't want to do it anyway. John and the nurse said it's nothing, just increased oxygen and then decreasing it again. I don't know. Even if I could get the insurance company to cover it, I'm not so sure. I would have to find out more about it.

Oh Deb, how awful. I think it's really crappy how expensive medical care is and how little some insurance plans cover.

Target, costume city and buy costumes are reputable. I have used them all. I have not heard of celebrate express, but that doesn't mean anything. Hope this helps.

I've used Celebrate Express for party supplies. No problems.

Beautiful Deb Is there skiing in Blue Mountain? Years ago when I was around 11, I went with my Aunt, Uncle and Cousins to a Blue Mountain ...the same They had a chalet there, I remember how beautiful it was. Besides trying skiing for the first time,my cousin and I went on a day long hike up a hill through the forest

My jaw hurts - been popping Extra Strength Tylenol as often as allowed. Lunch wasn't all that fun....chewing kindof hurts

I have to go back to the dentist on the 19th of November to make sure everything is (yeah).

I was wondering how you were today Monica. Keep taking the pain killers.

I am thinking about the first Baltic cruise - 12th June. Gydell is booking that one too. I think it will be quite exciting visiting the ports for the first time on the Magic.

You could also have your few days at a cottage in England.

I don't think other cruise lines have their itineraries out yet for 2010. I guess it would be better to book this one and cancel if a better one comes on the market.

We are going by July because of kids finish last week in June.

I have friend who are thinking go on 12 June too.

I just got home from work.

My train was rather crowded. A large number of Jewish people. I could tell from the number of yarmulkes. They probably should have dubbed that train the "Yom Kippur Clipper."

Since we have a regular room for NYE and my mom can't make it in the tub to shower we will Rainforest room every day, that's my plan

Yet another thing to discover on the cold EB TA...those warm tile loungers and hot showers I never did make it to the Rainforest Room either!
