I'm supposed to be doing all the last minute things to prepare for leaving tonight. I'm not doing anything. I'm knocked out by the antibiotics and I'm sleeping. Great! I hope it's not like this for the whole trip.

Hopefully I can get up now and get finished.

Thanks Monica.....btw, John asked the pharmacist about alcohol and the antibiotic. He was told that a glass of champagne and wine tasting is not out of the question. Don't overdue it and don't do it often, but it'll be okay for one day. YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!

Nope, I've had them most of my life, I just deal with them. Next appointment is sometime next month, but I'm not sure if the new employer will let me go since a few days after that I also have a psychiatrist appt. for Tyler. I'll check with them on the first day. They seem like they don't like to make accommodations, so I'll have to see.

Maybe they'll let you take a longer lunch hour and you could reschedule your appointment for that time???

Another stressful week. A few major projects are supposed to go to production, and we are finding critical bugs at the 11th hour. Tons of pressure.

My boss's boss the CIO scheduled one-on-ones with everyone in the IT team.

Mine was on Monday. The goal is going to be to try to find a successor for me and how to start to move my QA and Change Management responsibilities to someone else so that I can be moved into more of marketing role (my real background), and start beefing up our electronic strategy, Internet, Intranet and service portals. This would align much more with the bulk of my career background.

I don't expect any changes in quite a long time. Probably not until 2nd or 3rd quarter 2009.

And so now, to letting Truman and Tallulah our and giving them their breakfasts.

Hopefully they'll be reasonable. It's hard because they don't know you yet and they don't know that you're a hard worker. They will find that out in time and may be a little more flexible at a later date. In the meantime, best you can hope for is a longer lunch hour. Good Luck!

Thank you I think women should have rights BUT I'm not sure why women fought for them. I believe in the natural order of people. I WANT to take care of Jon and I hope with his every breathe that he wants to take care of me and his family. BUT I do have a good man and he would never treat me wrong.

In the 60s there were women who wanted to have the jobs and recognition men have.

(Some make jokes that it was because they were too ugly and too crabby to find a husband and create a happy marriage

But they made a big deal of it, burned their bras and dressed like hippies or homeless people.

They did not fight for the right for women to do what they each wanted, they fought for the right for
Women to do what THEY wanted them to do.

I heard someone recently speculate that they wanted everyone to agree with what they did so they would not feel guilty about having done it.

But, YOU GO GIRL!! Live your life, love your family and make decisions based on the best interests of your family just as you are doing now.

Then, when you meet someone who has made different choices because they are what she wanted to do--applaud her, even if you would hate to do that.

Hi Everybody!

Hi Shannon!!! How's Ken and the Girls??? Was thinking about you guys last night... (my brother just did his kitchen over...)

maybe we dye our head together and don't know it. I know it leeches out when we are on our tile loungers

I'm still having 2nd thoughts about losing so much time with Tyler. Now I won't see him from Wed early morning until Sat at 5. We at least had a bit of time together before and after karate. Oh well, he's excited about getting to do the after school program every day now, so that's good I guess.

So now we'll only have about 2 hours together Mon & Tues after work, Saturday evening, and all Sunday. Permanently. Just doesn't seem fair. Doesn't seem to be enough time with a little kid. OH well, nobody said life is fair, I guess that's just the way it goes.

Too bad I can't find a way to take summers off work. Well, I guess I'll just use my vacations in the summer now.

Holly... you're doing what's best for you and Tyler... don't worry about it... Tylers getting lots of love

Good Morning

I feel like Screaming now

Few weeks ago Disneypilots from EB was looking for picture exchange of Don Williamsons signed with the WB Picture.

I offered him that I have two of it so I send it away with the roll box.

then he emailed and said that the roll box had been damaged by delivery.

The post box arrived here today. It has been folded over, and the print is folded and creased.

He will send it back to me, but it is no longer suitable for framing.

I am bit annoying with it now and never thought that they will folded over.

Trouble is I didn't insured it.

Feel very disappointed and he will send it back to me without his picture. :cry:

Our picture is SO MUCH CUTER than theirs anyway!

Take it to a professional framing place and see if they can Mount it using the sealing paper that requires heat. That might straighten out the creases.

Another idea might be to use frosted or textured glass so that the colors seem all smudged by the glass and it looks ARTSY--like a Monet painting.

We came down for what we thought was a regular check up, but Mom has been experiencing dizziness lately so they have scheduled a slew of tests over the next 2 days...
