Oh Deb I am happy for you

wow sound family fun :thumbsup2

Not good tonight as Olivia was very bad behaviour at home:scared1:

She lost her temper after her dad said no about not going outside with bike *** it get dark.

she had damaged Keith's laptop:scared1:

Ian's Dad and I went to parent night then came home discovered Olivia was very bad girl:sad2:

She was very cheeky to teacher yesterday as first time.

I am stress now Ian's dad tell me not to worry but I had not good sleep last night.

I worry about her bad behaviour at holiday as I need a break.

I don't know what is her problem. Sad.

I haven't been there as a parent but maybe she is going through something in her own life or body that is setting her off. I remember being that way with my mom. We fought until I was 16 years old. I have three siblings and she didn't do that with any of the others so it was obviously me :confused3

We talked about that... she's good... works also during school at the library... always has.. .my brother's just cheap. Is supposed to send a certain amount as per his support agreement but balks each month. God forbid he does without for himself...

She asked me for non perishables to get her through the month... only request was saltines and graham crackers... :sad2:

What about the number one college staple....Top Ramen? She's eating stuff that is too expensive :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: I mean a pack of crackers is a few bucks. Top Ramen is only 10 cents. Oh wait it has been awhile, maybe it has gone up :lmao:

His company is sending him for a class. He wanted us to drive up and stay with him but I decided against it because I would have to take the kids out of school and plus Vegas isn't much fun with them ;) Now if I had at least one baby sitter in my life, it would be a different story.

OH, When John has classes from work they send him to Sarasota, FL and I always go with him....no kids and we go to see Mickey!!!

I never thought of Vegas as a place to take a class or to do work?!?:confused3

Hey, don't you have a DIS friend that you just met recently who has a daughter who will babysit?

At 20 she needs to be nice or on her own....IMHO ;)

She's had a very rough time... both parents are after each other all the time and my brother is cheap (big time...) & her stepmother refuses to talk to her because she wasn't allowed to bring her Boyfriend last year to Thanksgiving - still won't talk to her (and tossed the entree that my niece out instead of heating it...)

Mom and I have been the stable ones in her life since she was born...

Ohhhhh Ramen is on the shopping list... never fear... :lmao:

Hi all,
There are way too many pages to go back and look, but is anybody from "our" W.B. Panama Canal going on the W.B. Transatlantic cruise?

We are and can't wait!

Thanks!
Scilla and David

I'm keeping a list of everyone that is going on the different cruises and no one has confirmed that they are going on that cruise but a lot of people are considering it. If you check back every now and then, I will post lists. I will add you to the list and if you want to PM your room number, I will add that to the list.

All of my presents are trips. He knows better than to buy me stuff :lmao: He learned that the hard way.

I always order online, so I'll order all the Christmas presents including mine. When the box comes in, I don't even open it. I just give it right to John to wrap and put under the tree. Since I always start shopping way early, I forget what I got for myself and seeing it for the first time, I get all excited. John laughs at me because I was the one who bought it.

He works at a casino so that's why they send him to Vegas. He needs training you know :lmao: on how to push those slot machine buttons! No he is a manager over training so he has to go to these classes on how to train people. He did the Disney Academy last year.

I did meet a lady that has a teenager but I'm sure she has school too and I would never ask a teenager to babysit over night, especially if she has never met the kids.

I'm sorry to hear that. I think it is so hard for kids that have to deal with step parents especially if they have kids. I know a lot of situations that it is alright but most aren't because the parents can't get it together. She is lucky she has you.

That is a good plan. I just like to buy things when I need it. I'm not a normal girl when it comes to bags and jewelry and stuff. I'd rather it be trendy and cute rather than name brand and ugly :lmao: And most of the time that means cheap and fake :lmao: I'd rather a wine tasting trip where I get to spend as much as I want on anything I find in the tasting room and gift shop ;) Unfortunately, those darn places know just how to make me feel so I'll spend a lot

Well I had the worst MIL of the year anniversary party ;) Plus you guys won't be able to get rid of me the next couple of days because Jon is going to Vegas.

Sorry :sad1: I've planned to be gone for MIL & FIL anniversary this year, just to avoid it. Bad DIL I know :rolleyes1

I have made good friends with a mom that has a 5th grade (girl) and a 3rd grade (boy) close to my kids....we swap them for vacation time mid week. It works out pretty well. These are the kids I had a week or so ago, mom and dad went to Hawaii. Paul and I have our anniversary night off as the kids will be with them. Does your sister ever offer to sit the kids for you? I know you have her son sometimes ::yes::

Okay, I am off to the Cheetah girls. One question though.....Any of my WB repo friends going on the 11 night Christmas Dec. 2010? I booked this yesterday. The Baltic is tempting, the EB repo and the WB repo are out because of the timing. But the airfare on the Baltic is holding me back. Maybe, if they do some discounting later on either the Baltic or the Med's, I might be able to go. This, however, I doubt.

GoodNight Kathe, sweet Mickey dreams......I hope you get your confirmation tomorrow.:wizard:

I checked my email this morning and was 2 min late to work because my CONFIRMATION WAS THERE! :cool1: :lmao: It was so hard to drag myself away from my computer! I went to work with wet hair!

I asked about the single cost for my cat 11 too, it was 1.5K+ not bad IMHO

My room is a sideways room, what does that mean???

Nan, you got a sideways and didn't even know what it was, I requested one but they're all gone  I'm glad at least one went to friends  I'm trying to decide if I should change to aft then :confused3 Can't get one on deck 6 but could on deck 5. Of course, if we do get upgraded who knows where we will end up ;)

We had a good time and were distracted for a while. I would really like to go on the TA too. I was disappointed that I couldn't go and the Baltics are too expensive for me. I guess I will do the southern carribbean or move it to 2011 on a new ship. LOL.

Tammy, sounds like we'll have to settle for a reunion in 2011 :cool1: Even if you make it on the southern carribbean, you know you'll have to book 2011!

I'm sneezing and feel tired and a bit achey. Didn't have a good night as have a few issues here to worry about though, so that could be more to do with that.

Hope I don't get a cold as I haven't had one for a few years.

Marilyn  Hope you're feeling better soon.

Hi Marilyn and Deborah......I'm HAPPY NOW!!! I just heard back from Marla at DU......she rebooked me into room 5122 and she got me late seating with an 8pm request. I paid the deposit immediately. NOW I'M SOOOOOOO HAPPY!!!:dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

Woohoo! :cool1: :cool1: Glad you got what you were hoping for Deb :)

Deborah  Sorry you've had a few worries with Olivia . She has loving parents and she, and you, will be okay

Well that makes perfectly good sense now. DUH!

Oh, a teenager.....yea, she's a little young for that.

I remember babysitting my aunt's kids for a weekend when I was 16. I did it with a friend of mine. My aunt had four kids under 2 years old......a single birth, a twin birth and one died, another set of twins and both lived.....it was NUTS! My friend and I were exhausted afterwards and slept the rest of our Sunday away when we got home. But that was family for me.

Oh, I so agree. Everything I order for me online tends to be tink or crush or mickey. I have some Disney Art at home that I LOVE.

I don't do designer anything. Yes, I agree that most of it looks like it should be a lot less money than what it costs. I do however love jewelry. But I wear the same things everyday so no need for new stuff. I do love the wine tasting trip and buying anything you want. YEAH! Now that's a good present.:yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay:

Oh Deborah, you know I sure feel your pain. I know you really need a break, but hopefully she'll be having so much fun on vacation that she'll behave better just because she'll be so happy. I sincerely hope that for you! I know how miserable my vacations can sometimes be dealing with Tyler, and I don't wish that on anybody. I'm wishing the opposite for you! :goodvibes Nothing but happy days and relaxing times on vacation so you can get the break you deserve! :thumbsup2

Hi Kathe, you'll be so happy to know that we did NOT give up our second week on our B2B Tortola cruise. We're still doing both weeks. John didn't want to give it up.....and really it's so inexpensive I couldn't see forfeiting it either. So we'll be there with you and Sara. YEAHHHH!!!!!!

We booked the WB with PJ! :yay:

Vegas is actually a popular spot for companies (and the government) to send folks for training. The airfare and hotels are cheap compared to alot of other places.

Gotta go throw a pie together, just got a call the friends will be over for dinner. :grouphug:
