We booked the WB with PJ!

I'm so glad you and PJ will be sailing together again. I'm sorry I won't be on the same cruise with you. Do enjoy and post pictures and give us reports.

Vegas is actually a popular spot for companies (and the government) to send folks for training. The airfare and hotels are cheap compared to alot of other places.

You can tell I'm and East Coaster all my life.

What about the number one college staple....Top Ramen? She's eating stuff that is too expensive I mean a pack of crackers is a few bucks. Top Ramen is only 10 cents. Oh wait it has been awhile, maybe it has gone up

Oh, I cringe when I see or hear of people eating that stuff! The amount of sodium. Major health problems waiting to happen from that stuff.

Hi Kathe, you'll be so happy to know that we did NOT give up our second week on our B2B Tortola cruise. We're still doing both weeks. John didn't want to give it up.....and really it's so inexpensive I couldn't see forfeiting it either. So we'll be there with you and Sara. YEAHHHH!!!!!!

On the advice of one of our rather good friends from California (who just happens to be a cuddle bunny with fangs) I called the travel agent to inquire how much DCL would charge for airfare.

I found out that they will only book Chicago-Orlando-Barcelona-Chicago, but the fare quoted was really, quite, quite, quite, quite, quite good, so I booked it. Quite.

I was actually a bit surprised. When one books the air with Disney, is the fare locked in? Airlines only book 300 days out from travel, so I'm surprised that DCL would lock in a fare. Unless of course they have negotiated bulk fares.

(PS- the bulk of my years of career was in the airline industry in travel agency automation)

Ian, I am negotiating this for the first time too. I am hoping that the fares are indeed "locked in" .

I'm sorry to hear that. I think it is so hard for kids that have to deal with step parents especially if they have kids. I know a lot of situations that it is alright but most aren't because the parents can't get it together. She is lucky she has you.

There have been complications and he is STILL in surgery after 11 hours.
