ME TOO!!!

Not only did one way... went the other too!!!

Great Job!!!! Keep it up and I'll catch up tomorrow!!!

It was just the opposite for me. At that appointment, my midwife told me I'd have to head to the hospital to be induced. I asked if we could wait until tomorrow because I'd planned on renting some movies that night. She told me no, just get going. So I took my time, stopped at a video store to rent my movies to watch in the hospital room, went home and took time to gather what I needed to take, etc. About 3 hours later, I showed up at the hospital and they were NOT happy with me for taking my time because when the midwife called, she told them I'd be headed right over! :rotfl2: So I get there, they hook me up to the monitor, then the nurse asked me how long I'd been having contractions. :confused3 I said, "Um.....I haven't had any yet" and she said, "Uh, you're having one right now as we speak". :lmao: I just told her, OK, if you say so! :rotfl:

My first labor was 1 and 1/2 hours and my second was 55 minutes. I'm lucky. I could not have been in that pain for hours

Wow! You better not have another one because that one would probably slide out before you can get to the hospital! :rotfl2: I counted the start of my labor as when I first started feeling contractions. That was midnight, and he was born at 4:30pm, so I guess that would be 16 1/2 hours. That's short compared to most women I've heard of for their first one.

You forgot me! But that's ok....I was supposed to be born in January - just decided to come 2 months early :cutie:

You just didn't want to miss any of the parties!!!

ohhhhhhhhh Tee Top Villas.......I was always so said when we cruised by them on teh Sasquhulahonnahieinie River. Glad to see they are going to be doing something with them. :thumbsup2

SCORPIOS UNITE!

.

Jackie... you sound so General Hospital!!! Scorpios... yeah...

I have only read the past few pages but I am happy to more of you on now. I can't keep up anymore. With planning the upcoming cruise, school, and swapping/scrapping I don't have alot of time (oh and work too). The house really needs to be cleaned too. I am thinking of writing a trip report for my moms cruise since there seems to be very little information about traveling with a handicap person. I have 2 tests on Th and a project due and am supposed to be studying. Matt is doing ok, wondering when the clothes will be back in the dresser!:lmao: I told him not anytime soon unless he wanted to bring them upstairs but everytime I bring them up I step on a cat or fall so they stay downstairs.

Mentioning cats:
I wish I had a pic to show of the devil (Panama Jack). I left Matt home alone with all 3 cats on Sun for a few hours and chaos insued. PJ gets into everything and climbs everything. So Matt comes to pick me up from work and tells me PJ killed the aloe plant. He jumped on the sink window sill and knocked the plant to the ground. Yesterday he got it back out of the trash (the plant) and was carrying it around the house.:rotfl2: Then I had to take Chrissy to the vet since I found blood on her. She will be ok, but has to take pills for a few days. You see what I happens when I go to work for a few hours! The other cat seems unharmed though. I can't wait to go shopping all day Saturday with my mom and sister.

Hi Jill!!!

Tell Matt it's good training for if you have kids some day... cause one of them is gonna like chewing on aloe too!!! :rotfl:

Tyler was 2 weeks late and I wanted to just keep going because I was enjoying being pregnant so much. I went bouncing into my appointment on the day of being 2 weeks late, walking fast like I usually do, and the nurse who walked me back into the examining room told me I probably made most of the women in the waiting room want to slap me. I asked, "Huh? What did I do?" And she told me usually when people get around their 8th month, they start walking slowly and are just miserable, then they see me come bounding past like I'm not even pregnant. I had to laugh. I told her, well, I don't feel any different than I did before being pregnant. In fact, the day before that I was at the zoo walking for about 2 hours because it was a nice spring day. ;) She told me she almost wanted to slap me. :rotfl2:

You had Nan for a nurse???

No one including me thought I was in labor. I just went to the doctor for a visit and he told me I was in labor. Then the labor nurse didn't believe I was in labor. The doctor checked me and I was dilated to 6 and they broke my water and I had him. They begged me not to push but I did anyway and he came out in one push...there was blood everywhere like a crime scene but it stopped hurting :lmao:
