Did I tell you that we are going away to Dublin for New Year

Well John has flown off to Dublin for a couple of day's business. I'm not used to being on my own at all.

I thought I would go on a little browsing shopping this morning - just need a couple of things for our holiday. Did I tell you we will be in the sun in 2 weeks? i bet you cannot wait to get away from awful weather

Anyway, guess what - it is raining. Not cold, but wet rain. When will it ever stop? Apparently we have had a year's worth of rain already and we still have the 3 wettest months to come! Aome poor folk are flooded and more is expected.
I am fed up and doing the cross stitches and it is half way through now
So, I did what I needed to do and came home with some goodies to keep me company for 2 days!!!



I'm thinking of watching all 3 Pirates movies in almost one go. John loves them, but I think he is pirated up now!! I do have plans to visit a sick friend tomorrow afternoon, and am having my hair done on Thursday.

We gave Keith's Pirates 3rd dvd for Xmas but we have not watch it yet 9 months have not watch it yet

You have sent up Hurricane Hanna over(thanks for sharing) and we are awaiting the rain from that tomorrow or Thursday.

Day off tom have book for facial for one hour tom

My friend bought it for me from Magic Kingdom and I started it last Jan then stop, my husband said I bet you never finish it so I want to finish it *** I know I like it lot.

I didn't realise that it is a big job as I thought A4 but bigger than that lol

It looks really cute Deborah. I hae a huge one from 10 or more years ago and I only ever did a few stitches. I will never do it now!! It is about 4 ft by 18", but the design is only a small part of that, mostly blank canvas.

The Disney Magic has magically disappeared from the Copenhagen port website!!!

I believe this happened when folk found out some of the ports the Magic would be visiting in the Med.

I'm a bit nervous about Tyler's appointment today. Since the "Ice Queen" has been acting so childish for so long, I'm just afraid she's going to try saying stupid stuff. My only hope is that I'm strong enough to keep my mouth shut for Tyler's sake and let the doctor set her straight. Any time his dad has mentioned stupid things, the doctor has put him straight, as have other doctors for other issues, so I know the same will happen here. Still just can't help worrying over it.

OK, since Marilyn will need things to occupy her while John's away, here's a first day of 1st grade picture. A bit fuzzy because I had to scan in an actual picture. It's Tyler and his buddy Cordell. Cordell is 4 1/2 and just started kindergarten with the teacher Tyler had last year, and they're friends because they met at karate class over the summer. Cordell's mom took this picture when we were picking the boys up after the first day of school:

I'm feeling sooo tired today. I've already had a 20 min nap, which is very rare for me. I never nap during the day unless I have been awake for ages in the night.
