Hi Michelle, how is your Friday going?

My right leg is weeping a lot of fluid today.....water.....the bandage is soaked. I go through periods of no weeping for a while and then constant weeping and I don't do anything different. I don't get it. I've got to keep it dry or it's not going to heal. I don't know what to do anymore.

Deb... I wish I had more advice on wound care... Keep lots of gauze around...

Of course the most famous thing is having a religious figure weeping... (usually either a picture or sometimes a grilled cheese... )

So... if the Virgin Mary shows up on the gauze.......

(ebay... we need to pay for the Tortola cruise...)

(I will now go and say several Our Fathers and Hail Mary's for that one....)

It's really disappointing because I'll be leaving here on Wednesday night and doing a lot of walking. It will probably swell more and then weep more too.....especially in the heat. And I can't take the steroids to get the swelling down.

I just checked and it is very swollen today too. Great! I'm going to have to keep it elevated.

I guess it could be worse....at least I still have use of it. I have to be thankful.

So is anybody else upset that we, as a nation, are now another $1 trillion further in debt that will be paid off by our tax money. We just bailed out the top investment banking companies that are going under. Yet the CEOs that ran them into the ground after more than 150 years in business.....just walked away with multi-million dollars and up to one-half a billion dollars in their pockets......and then they stuck us with the bill!

The news said it's like we just put $1 trillion on our credit card.

Can you say corruption. Didn't we learn anything from Enron?

Not regularly. When the weeping starts, the leg hurts a lot with all the swelling and the wound. When I put the compression boots on, it hurts more. I'm a big baby. I don't like pain. So I don't use them when I need them the most.

I went to work, volunteered in the class, picked up my prescription and watched TV and DISed a little and your still at work and I'm at home I don't work that many hours. It will come in time. I actually like it so I can ease in to it but it won't be good for the paycheck!

Marilyn - I had no idea why you were taking like a pirate this morning. Luckily somebody explained it or I'd still be clueless

Gaylean - did you get it all figured out for Hannah Montana this weekend. I would so love to take my girls to see here. We watched her concert on TV and Kaleigh loved it! She can't sit still for too long, so she ended up getting a microphone and performing for us She's only 3 but she thinks she's a star!

I am so happy its Friday. Work has been completely crazy this week. Evenings have been completely crazy (except last night, because after running around after work to get ready for a birthday dinner, I took the rest of the evening off ). This weekend will be crazy busy again, but hopefully we will get the electrical done in the kitchen and next weekend we'll be ready to paint. Except we might be too busy with MIL.
Tonight its Brownies for Shaelyn and then Kaleigh & I get to go meet Ken at the local campaign for its official opening. Tomorrow is swimming lessons for me and the girls, then pottery for Shaelyn while I run around. Then we're off to PG, where Ken & I are going to a Cancer fundraising charity dinner dance. I'm so happy I went and bought a new pink blouse on Monday because I have no pink dress clothes and Ken bought a pink dress shirt this week. I've been trying to get him into a pink shirt for about 2 years (Yeah it finally happened!) He ended up with a nice pink/white stripe which will look fantastic!

Now I have to end my coffee break and then in 15 minutes I can leave I do like it when crazy days calm down at the end, and I can de-stress before heading out the door!

Man-oh-man, I just got the most tempting e-mail from Disney Visa this morning. Four nights five days value resort, with theme park tickets and FREE DINING. Available for a couple of specific weeks in Sept/Oct/Nov/Dec for something like $75 per person, per night double occupancy. Don't remember the exact figure, but it was looooow.

If any of you have Disney Visa and haven't gotten the offer...I suggest giving them a call....limited number of rooms bla bla bla....
