Am going back to the Dr on the 19th to talk about meds & some other issues. Depression has been getting worse over the last month....want to get things back on the up swing again.

Last Sunday I just cried for no reason for about a 1/2 hr (really balled (sp?)) and then this past Friday at work the lead agent came over in the am and asked me if I would issue tickets for the last 1 1/2 hrs of the day and I almost burst out crying then too. Want to bite all my co-workers heads off to. At times like this I really wished I worked from home.

Thank you all for the thoughts, prayers, pixie dust, s and support. I don't know if you guys realize how much they (and you) mean to me (as my eyes start to tear up). Must stop now or I will start crying & don't want to have to explain that here at work.

 so sorry!!

Sounds like my pms. The older I got the more it became PMS and then PMS

Just knowing my hormone swings were to blame helped me cope. Also 100 mg B complex timed release vitamins--4 per day in the tough weeks and less the other weeks. Worked for me.

 Jan

Hey Jan...

How come WE'RE the ones up late at night??? :rotfl: I think the west coasters went to bed... :cloud9:

Woody!!!

Made it to the Police Concert... It was EXCELLENT!!! Sting did sort of steal the show... but it wouldn't have been ANYTHING without Stuart Copeland!!!

SPAC was wall to wall people... it was crazy but good!!!
Did you tell them, "Don't Stand So Close To Me"?

Glad you had a great time!

Woody

I think many more of your US clothing is suitable for tumble drying, whereas less and less of ours is. Most of the tee shirts shrink!!! I am trying to dry outside more to save electricity, but that means more ironing.

I have a friend who irons all the underpants, and another who irons socks!!!:rotfl:

Another one I HAVE to respond to!

Ironing underpants and socks?????:scared1: I knew a girl in college that ironed her sweatshirts. I don't iron unless it's major. My best friend is a spray bottle of water...a little misting, shake it out, smooth with hands and good to go!

I had the pleasure this weekend of telling 2 interested people about our cruise!!:cool1:

Nobody else has been so interested.:lmao:

I can relate! I think I had two friends who were really interested and wanted to see pictures, etc. I just forced it on everyone else!:lmao: :lmao:

I miss Rockin Bar D and Maria and Sylvia. I miss eating steak almost every night and swimming with my pod. I miss seeing everyone in the hall. I miss ordering room service at 2:00 am and drinking champagne in the morning. I miss it all.

I'm really enjoying getting caught up, even though the posts I'm reading are days old. I feel like I'm chatting with everyone...

Gayleen, you're coming to DL in Sept. for the wedding doin's, aren't you?

Don and I went out on a date tonight. He did the music for a wedding this past weekend and the couple gave him a gift card to our favorite local restaurant. Then we went to see Momma Mia.....strange movie. If you go just for the pure entertainment, you will love it!

I really liked it!!! I saw it twice in 2 days!:goodvibes

Good morning everybody!
I came into work early for a trial, and of course it still hasn't started yet, and I've been here for 3 hours already:eek: only 9 or so hours to go. Oh well, its a legitimate excuse to check out disboards. :lmao:
And I had to take a cab in this morning because my van's in getting the wipers fixed - I didn't think of it yesterday:confused3 , but its getting fixed at the dealers, so I should have asked them for a demo car to drive last night

I painted the front landing and down the stairs a nice soft sagey green last night - poor Ken, its much greener than he thought it would be. He called it "dis-green" when it was still wet, but it dried much more subdued. This little project started as just re-doing the floor, but then we added in painting the bottom off of the stairs, and now that's done and the top half and trim all look crappy, so next week I'll start painting those, and then we'll finally lay the flooring down. Today Ken's going to order the new kitchen cabinets :cool1: :cool1: So in a couple weeks, we'll be demolishing the old stuff.
Now I should get back to work. Hopefully, I can take a break later in the day and check in again. This place is such a nice sanity break!:hippie:

Wow! Your house is going to be really nice! I'd love to remodel my kitchen!

I saw Cherie on the Photo of the Day but not over here.:confused3 That isn't allowed!

:rotfl: :rotfl:

That's because there's no catching up to do over on that thread! Hey, I'm up to pg. 103! I think the rest is going to have to wait until tomorrow.

'night everyone!

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I have been in a good mood!! Frank is all better...I have been at the beach 4 weekends in a row.....Daniel is still home from school......and I have been trying very hard not to let my mom get under my skin!!!

Life is good! :goodvibes :goodvibes

You deserve a life of peace Lisa. Long may it last.

She and Dennis got up early to help friends load a moving truck! :headache: :sad2: These friends are old geezers like us, had no one to help except us. We took DGS Korey and his buddy to help with the heavy stuff. Now the next two days we get to load and move our own stuff!! So....who was it said I was going to enjoy retirement so much??? :lmao:  :rotfl:

That was lovely of you both. I hope your friends reciprocate and make things a bit easier for you too.

Need to be top to toe elastic though!!!:confused3 :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

A MuuMuu would work too! :lmao: :lmao:

I suppose they'll probably televise it, right? This is the first time I've not liked either candidate and don't know how to decide. :sad2:

Ditto!

The real campaigning will start after Labor Day....you will not be able to get away from it....you will most likely vote for the one who "pisses" you off the LEAST!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

This is probably what I will do, or write in Mickey Mouse which is what I am threatening. :rotfl: :rotfl:

Arrangements are made, we are leaving for California on Thursday and the Memorial Service is on Saturday. Doug will come home on Monday and I am staying until Saturday. I offered and Christa said she would appreciate the extra pair of hands for awhile.

Carol

And also, no e-mail today from dad or stepmom telling me about "negative side effects" that they're seeing. I think all the benefits I've been sharing by e-mail with his dad are finally sinking in. At least I hope so.

I wonder if she is so M-A-D because she can now see that you were R-I-G-H-T about the MD and medication?

Jan :)

IT'S ANGIE'S LAST DAY OF WORK!!!

 :dance3: :yay: :woohoo: :cheer2:
SO,
does anyone know how Angie is doing with the house sale and retirement? Seems like the deal on the house should be finalized soon and then she was going to quit her job, wasn't she? I wonder when that will be? I had expected her to be excited about it......

Jan :lmao:
