Last night I was watching the tv of the News as wonder if you have heard about 40 people who had injury while on the Cruise at New Zealand as the water was very rough

Facebook continues to puzzle me as to what exactly is it's rationale?

Apparently I'm one hell of a popular guy, because this week, much of the universe wants to be my pal.

I accepted the invitation to the group for people who grew up in my neighborhood in the 60's and 70's. I moseyed over mainly to see if there was anyone I remembered, and primarily to assess if they looked better or worse than me.

Nobody I knew.

I also received an invitation from Mike who is a friend. We have known he and his partner Tim for about 10,000 years. They've been coming here year after year for Thanksgiving. They flew down to WDW for my 50th birthday party.

Mike sent me a friend invitation. They live a few blocks away. I find myself wondering why he didn't just pick up the phone.

Then there are the ads that Facebook apparently thinks will be of interest to me.

So far, I have been offered the opportunity to:

• Become buffed
• Have the body of a 20 year old guy (I'm not exactly sure the context in which this was meant)
• Meet sexy men over 40

So, I still struggle with the point.

I don't know, but today will be interesting when I pick him up. I wonder if they'll have anything to say. Of course, I'll conveniently be in a hurry, since I promised to take Tyler to the fair (today is the last day) and since he didn't get to ride any rides when he went with the school (nobody did), I told him we can ride either until the fair closes or until we just can't take any more spinning! So we'll have to rush out of there so he can check on the neighbors' cat across the street and bring in their mail and water their plants. That's his job while their out of town until a week from Sunday. Of course I will already have been over there today just to give the cat some company. He was purring like crazy when I stopped over after work yesterday, so happy to see somebody.

It could be worse than rain Deborah. I could never hang laundry outside to dry because my back yard is mostly covered with a big tree. Big tree means lots of birds. Lots of birds == messy laundry!

I tried... I really did... I could have whispered it in their ears we were so close... but you've gotta love lawn seats... the indoor seats were going for $231!!! I think everyone who couldn't get tickets for NY at Madison Sq. Garden hit this concert.

It was great though!!!

Ironing underpants and socks????? I knew a girl in college that ironed her sweatshirts. I don't iron unless it's major. My best friend is a spray bottle of water...a little misting, shake it out, smooth with hands and good to go!

That's my method... sometimes I'll mist something and throw it in the dryer for a couple of minutes...

I meant major as in, there are quite a few birthdays this month. I am going to be 53 thank you ever so large.

Well, glad you got some sleep! I was catching up on the overnight posts and there's only one page you're not on, so it looked sort of suspicious! I thought you were having an all night DIS marathon!

I try to outdo Gaylean on the overnights but it just hasn't happened yet...

I should mow my yard, it really needs it, but the other yards look to be the exact same height as mine, so I'd hate to throw off the symmetry. I'll wait until other start mowing theirs.

No birthday plans at all this year. I actually never have birthday plans with the exception of 30, 40 and 50.

I think getting married is more than enough to take on board.
