Had to come by to Dis for a minute. My brain is fried after 9 hours of researching drugs. I'm still in my PJ's I've been sitting here for so long! I have to take a break and turn off the computer today.

I'm about to do new presentation about all the deaths, emergency room visits etc. from energy drinks mixed with alcohol (it's deadly!!!); LSD recipes; contaminated drugs and secret ingredients in drug mixtures and how all of those interacts with the human body. Doesn't that sound exciting everyone? It's actually going to be a fun presentation beginning with the old fashion health class from the 50's. I'm also researching Home schooling and drug education.

If anyone has any old health books, I need goofy covers of health books or drug class pictures from the 50's- 70's.

I'd like to know more about the energy drinks and alcohol.

What sort of photos are you looking for? I don't have any text books but I do have a set of DVD from "health classes" in the 50's, you know the sort of films we (well people of my generation) were shown school.

I could try to get some frame captures.

I'm looking for a couple of pictures that would make the audience laugh when the first frame they see is Your Body and You - a very boring 1950's looking black and white photo of a teacher or a body or a text cover. Something that would seem campy today. Does that make sense?

Well, we have left Bethany beach and are on our way back to Centreville. I slept a long time this afternoon on the back porch. The wind was blowing like crazy (from that Tropical Storm off of NC) and it was hot and sunny. Such a beautiful day.

It's strange how such a storm could be so beautiful in other spots... I remember one time being in Jersey and the storm was just skirting us but you could see the rotation and how round the storm was... beautiful...

Thanks! We had a good time. Nothing exciting, but had to run to a few stores to get some stuff for a new jewelry display I wanted to prepare for a jewelry party tomorrow. Then back at home, he helped me set things up. I still had lots of jewelry in a suitcase, so I had a bit of organizing to do, now it's all packed and ready to go tomorrow after work. Oh...that reminds me....I have to go plug in and charge up the portable DVD player for Tyler to take with us so he'll be occupied during the show. He wants to help me set up, but I'm sure he'll get bored quickly.

Well, we had a teleconference yesterday with the President of Staples on Friday, he said that they have sold like 47,000 of them and that all the money has gone to Boys and Girls Clubs of America. So I guess it is a fundraiser!

Britain has a huge problem with teenage drinking and I imagine the cocktail of energy drinks and alcohol if not already common would soon be a problem. As a country we are not tackling it at all.

Can you tell me what is Staples? What kind of shop?

We have had the nicest weather this summer hot and sunny and afternoon rain showers so the grass looks great!!

Staples sells just what the name implies....staples!! (office products) but I sell contract furniture (cubicals). This merger will be very strange for us. We were a very high end company and Stpales is more "run of the mill". Oh well, whatever, I can't change it, so I will just go with the flow.
