Greetings campers...

at 3 am this morning I swore I was headed to the ER...

By 4 am... the pain meds had kicked in... :upsidedow

I think things are starting to calm down...

Now...

Jackie and Cherie...

WILL YOU TWO KNOCK IT OFF!!!!!!:sad2: :sad2: :sad2:

While we are very glad to hear that you are all fine...

Demolition Derby is NOT a good hobby to take up...

Take care of yourselves... rest... and it would have been fine to pull off to a safe location to rest!!!!

We care about you too much to lose you!!!

That's my 2 cents for the day...

Back to watch Oprah reruns...
Michelle, I'm glad the meds kicked in. Take care of yourself!

Our Dream Dinners location here is having a "sidewalk sale" special today through Sunday. "Make a Dinner for 2 for only $10 or a dinner for 4 for $20". There are a bunch of dinner choices to pick from, and it includes garlic bread and a veggie and a dessert. YUMMY! I've been wanting to try this since a bunch of you talked about it and a similar chain last year, but didn't want to spend all that money in case I didn't like it. None of the options are anything Tyler would eat, so it would all be for me. This dinner for 2 is the perfect way for me to try it out.....and cheap! :yay: So I think I'm going Friday after work and I think I'll choose Hawaiian chicken or maple glazed pork chops. Yummmmmmmy! :cloud9:

That sounds great Holly!!! We have a place like that around here too...

Just don't eat them both at once... (like I would... tempting I know... ;) )

 So glad the meds worked Michelle. You are certainly going through it right now.

The boredom is driving me nuts. But I have most of my calendar put into my pda, can't transfer contacts from old phone to new phone because the battery on the old phone died and my charger is at home. Bummer.

I suppose I should enjoy the lack of work today because tomorrow will be super busy because only 2 out of 4 secretaries will be here.

You are too. I haven't gotten a call in weeks now. I'll be home on Tuesday and we will talk or IM then, alright? Set your calender.

whatever...i'm on im ...you've been MIA...goof! Have fun talk to you later!

:lmao: I mailed one letter and 2 garnishments today. That's it for the WHOLE day! :rotfl2: 15 minutes of work for a whole day. Good grief it was a slow day! :rotfl:

Monica, Deb, V and Carol are MIA too. And PJ - what has happened to her. :sad2: We miss you all. I know Angie will be busy packing - anyone remember when they were supposed to be moving?

Bedtime here. Goodnight.

Have a great trip Gaylean and family. Don't get sunburnt.:headache:

Hope Cherie is doing well and Jackie too. Deborah and Michelle, I hope you are both feeling better.

:grouphug: To everyone not feeling tip top for whatever reason.

Oh, I did! ;) But you guys are still chatting, so I'm still hanging around so I don't miss anything.

I'm jealous of your Cali reunion!

me too I wish to meet reunion too.

Nan, my fruit is soaking. I froze the fruit so I'll let you know how that turns out. I put in blackberries, cantaloupe, strawberries, blueberries and pineapple. Yum

Hello everyone.Been lurking. Hope everyone is getting better. I just wanted to give a suggestion that might help someone that drives while tired. Years ago when I was working the graveyard shift and commuting 40 miles to work, I had many close calls while driving home at 7:30 AM. I am surprise that I didn't have an accident in the years that I worked that shift. One day I was talking to a long haul truck driver who suggested that I try eating sunflower seeds while I drive. The little concentration it takes to crack the shells keeps you from going into a daze. It work for me and I always stop to get a bag when I am driving long distances. I was munching on them on the long drive home after our cruise.

Cheri!! So glad you are OK! and that your nephew is OK!
You were protected!!

We are thankful!

I missed Jackie's accident...hope you are doing better. And Cheri - wow! That must have been really scary. Hope you and your nephew are fine now, and that your car can be saved.

Gaylean, I think I read something about frozen fruit, but not sure about the drink...do you know what is good? To put frozen fruit and REAL drinks....frozen rasberries with vodka and sprite....and it is colorful!

Wish I could see you guys at your meet. It sounds like fun.

Nan, any word on the counter-offer?

I'm hanging out at work, waiting for an owner meeting....might be one with fireworks so should be interestings....

Hope everyone else's jobs are settling down.

Woody, I agree about the jeep tour. Might want to pass. :rotfl:

Holly - okay i will look at it

and i was watching youtube of panama

feeling like want to go back there again :sad1: Do everyone feel same or just me?

I realised that my husband had video of the disney cruise and LA for 6 hours and I have not see it yet. MEN!!:rotfl2:

Scottishwee35

I want to go back too!:cool1:

I have discovered that if I drink a beverage with electrolytes in it like GatorAid or Propel water I feel so great it is amazing.

I drank a lot of water on the cruise, but did not replentish the salts I was losing. I had a double whammy on the cruise of the heat and my hot flashes (sorry guys). I felt like the whole two weeks I was running on empty. Just did not have my normal get-up-and-go.

Since we got home I have added one of those electrolyte-balanced drinks per day on HOT days and I feel like a new person!

So, you see, I HAVE ::yes:: to go back since now I will have more energy and be mentally sharp!:thumbsup2

It's wonderful! today was a real test because we have high humidity and high pressure, and that usually triggers a migraine for me. A co-worker is the same, and we quite often have them the same day. When I woke up this morning, I could feel pressure in my head, and still do, but the pounding never started! So I asked her, and sure enough, her migraine started overnight and she's miserable. Of course I shared info on my med with her, so maybe she can check into it because it's still working! :woohoo:

But I do realize meds work differently in different people, so it might not work for her. Our office manager's daughter tried this med and she started having psychotic hallucinations and extreme anxiety, so had to stop taking it after a week. Yikes! I'm glad I didn't get that side effect!

And I am glad you did not get that reaction too. :thumbsup2

I am so pleased that you are doing so well!! :cool1:
