It's 33F here in Chicago. Sounds like you're having a heat wave.

Why here in Chicago, we'd be splashing in a pool and throwing shrimps on the barbie, or Barbies on the shrimp if was as hot as 36F.

Holy s***...I feel like I,m back in Prescott! Good thing I had my scarf, mittens and Santa hat tonight! We had a great dinner at the Marrakesh rest. and watched Illuminations. I think MK tomorrow. Elaine has gone to the hot tub. Even tho it,s only 9;30 my time I,m ready to crash. Night all!

Not sure if anybody remembers, but last year I was considering taking Tyler to see Walking with Dinosaurs: http://www.dinosaurlive.com/ but it just didn't happen for whatever reason. Well, MY MOM JUST GOT TICKETS FOR US for Sat. 12/13! WOOHOO! Tyler's going to LOVE it!

thanks for the offer, I'll just check out online what I can find and book it that way if I find anything. I haven't heard back what day yet. And I'll be sending flowers tomorrow from the whole family so if I can't go she will still see our love in blooms.

And for SURE there is room for you. We'll just add another to the table. We aren't going to mess with the ressies now since they may just give us grief, since we are concierge and spending a ton of $$$ at rack rates at AKL, I'll expect (and have crossed fingers) that they will just add another the ressie for the whole trip. Also, since this sister is going she may even get the really crabby one to come so no sense in adding one when it might just be 2 in another week or so...

It's 5:00 am and I just woke up. John and Tom are getting up at 5:10 am. YEAH!!!!! Tom is here....he's sleeping upstairs....our house only has one room upstairs. It was John's office, but he doesn't ever use it so we're making it into Tom's bedroom.

It was so awesome to see Angel going nuts over Tom. She grew up with him here everyday from a baby until they left a year ago. She remembered him and she loves him the most. So not only was she so happy that the kid was home again, but Tom was back. Then Tom didn't leave. That was even cooler to her. She was one very very happy dog last night. Wait until she realizes that he's staying and not leaving at all. I love seeing her as the happy dog....she gets so excited.

John is awake now and just woke Tom up....John opened the door to upstairs, guess where Angel is now!!! That's one way to wake a person up!

Good Morning All Bipeds (and Nan)!

There was just a piece on public radio about the drop in tourism in of people going to WDW Orlando and the domino effect on the Orlando economy.

In the piece they reckoned that it would be about 6 months since Disney themselves started to feel the impact, although they cited the recent promotions.

We are under a winter advisory today. They are predicting about 3 inches of snow later today and the temperature is going to drop to about 23F.

This is a most unusual winter. It just doesn't usually get this cold this early in the year. We're having February weather in December.

I can only imagine what February will be like.
