Exactly I am not happy with it also I was shopping yesterday at M&S for paperwrapping etc... one staff told me put that back and told me that 20 percent plus my discount too so I leave it until tomorrow maybe get family present to save my money.




I am very sorry to heard that news and I know you wish to help but there is nothing to do.

I have friend Roz and she was very bad depression last year and went to hospital over Xmas then she came out of it then now she back to depression again over her friend treated her terrible. She texted me last night to asked me if I am friend with her. I texted back yes I am alway your friend and please don't listen another people and think family first. She texted back and said she feel very low.

I don't want end up like her one day!!! very scarey!!

When Tom was still in PA they put him on anti-depressants and he was doing very well. He was happy and getting good grades, had a steady girlfriend, was the president of his vo-tech class and loved what he was doing. Then he moved to FL and he went backwards again. But John called it when they left 11 months ago. He said that the first thing Joe was going to do was get both of those boys out of the house....so he could have Sandi completely to himself. So sad.

Kris joined as a friend on my myspace page and I read a comment he received from Sandi's cousin that lives near her in FL. She wrote on Kris's page....."All Sandi ever talks about to me is Joe." Her cousin mentioned that she didn't know how Kris and Tom were doing because Sandi never talked about them....just about Joe.

I told this to John and said, wow it's not just us that has noticed how Joe controls and consumes Sandi's life. Her cousin has noticed it too. That's scary.

We told her on the phone this morning to talk to Joe and then she relaxed. She thought we were going to badmouth Joe to her again. We did nothing of the sort. We just wanted her to be comfortable with us. It's so hard.

Not sure about the trips. June is not our month of choice as everything is more expensiive and WDW hotter, but for the West coast it would be ok perhaps for a one off.

Well those are some very good and valid points. I can see that it is not going to be easy to put together a reunion. It would be too hard to pick a date that would work for everyone. Well we can say we did try.

Well I would go at the drop of a hat, but John needs to go other places. Unfortunately Europe is bad too as our exchange rate with the Euro is abysmal too. We were going to go on a driving holiday there through a few countries, but that will be too expensive too.

While we're stuck in this present economy, it's going to be hard to travel as much as you like. You can't afford what you used to be able to. You just have to wait it out until it turns around. Hopefully it won't be very long.

Hi all! I haven't been able to read anything yet, just wanted to say Hi! I can't believe next week is Thanksgiving. It is going to be a crazy week. I hope everyone has fun plans. We are going to Matt's families for lunch, then the Fantasy of Trees, my parents for supper, and maybe Micheals for their Thanksgiving Day sale.

I had fun on my trip to the beach but boy was it cold. We picked out some cute stuff but I won't be able to post pics till after we go in Dec. since the stuff isn't in yet. I got to pick out the kids room and boy is it bright and fun and the queen is how I want to do my room at home. We ended up coming home Mon. b/c we had to assemble the Patio furniture.

by the way, I'll be working on Thanksgiving, so our meal will be the next day.

Deborah - your company sounds so frustrating to work for. Hopefully your holidays plans for 2010 will all work out.

Michelle - how's your dad doing? Is he still improving?

It sounds like a reunion thing is going to be tough to schedule to work for everybody. We are pretty flexible, but don't want July or August (too hot& too expensive).

Now I have to get back to work. Its been a long day so far. I got a call from work at 3am that they were running out of resin (main ingredient of what we make), so then it was an hour of phone calls trying to get more in right away. So that was a crappy nights sleep, and a lousy way to start the day, but it has to improve from here.

I just got back from seeing the wound specialist. My right leg is infected again and I'm back on antibiotics. Just Great!

So his name is Dr. Beckett and his nurse said it was his birthday yesterday and I said mine too. When he walked into the room I said happy birthday to him and to me too. He said oh yea and do you know who else that's famous had a birthday yesterday? He said Mickey Mouse. I said I know he turned 76. I showed him my necklace. Now I love Dr. Beckett even more.

There is a holiday as per US terminology - Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and then New Years Day. Also many companies just stay closed for the period between.

We personally have a holiday as per UK terminology - 17 nights in WDW!! I do try and remember to use the term vacation when talking to you all here, particularly at this time of year when holiday has such a particular meaning.

Do you have a holiday in December? I know Santa doesn't visit.

We make fibreboard. (MDF) We take residue from the sawmills, grind it into individual fibres, add some glue and press it into panels. Then we sell it to other people who turn it into useful products (picture frames, furniture, wall paneling, laminate flooring, poster backs, moulding). And thank you, yes, the rest of the day has been going better.

Nope, I don't think the tag fairy likes our thread I'm destined to be tagless, as I hardly ever post anywhere else. I just like to come here and chat with my dis-friends

Ian - Does Hannukah move every year? I know its 8 days, but is it a moving holiday like the Christians move Good Friday/Easter? Do you get sick of being wished Merry Christmas when you don't celebrate it? There isn't many Jews in my area, but there's many Jehoviah's Witness people. Some of them get very offended when you wish them a Happy Holiday and others just shrug it off.
