Hi everybody....got off work at 6pm, home at 6:30, and my jammies by 6:35! I just can't get used to it being dark already at 6pm! so weird!

Last night, elves came and decorated all of Walt Disney World! My resort (the Beach Club) is so beautiful! And the traditional gingerbread and chocolate carosel seems to be more beautiful than usual! I am going to the Festival of the Trees at the Orlando Art museum this Friday....it's for support of the museum......and there are RAFFLES!

Did I tell everyone that we are staying at Fort Wilderness from Dec. 21 to dec 25! I am so excited! we had some DVC points that had to be used up, and we've been thinking about the camping cabins....I am going to take a little Christmas tree and lights to decorate....also we are renting a golf cart, and I will bring some garland and battery powered lights for it. Won't it be fun to drive around at night and look at all the campers decorated!

We actually have our heat on today, I sure hope it warms up again soon!

I just got back from seeing the wound specialist. My right leg is infected again and I'm back on antibiotics. Just Great!

So his name is Dr. Beckett and his nurse said it was his birthday yesterday and I said mine too. When he walked into the room I said happy birthday to him and to me too. He said oh yea and do you know who else that's famous had a birthday yesterday? He said Mickey Mouse. I said I know he turned 76. I showed him my necklace. Now I love Dr. Beckett even more.

I think we should have annual reunions one at DL and then the following year one at WDW. They should alternate each year to keep it fair. Then we can still see each other even if we're not cruising together. It sounds like February is the best time of year for everyone. It is certainly an inexpensive month to travel. I might have to change my april travel month to feb and just start it in 2010 and skip 09. Maybe more people will be able to come then.

I say the more the merrier.

I'm not flying so it really doesn't matter to me. What date in February was anyone thinking about?

Holly, is Feb a good time to travel for you?? Would you be able to alternate going to DL and WDW once a year to do a reunion and see everybody? I'm thinking about having to take Tyler out of school and you can't do that. We might have to move it to June. If it was an annual reunion of Thieves in June could you do it?

June is my birthday and we are usually at the river at least one week but there are three others.

I'm happy to report that I'm home and I'm not stressed.

Things at work have actually been slightly better this week. The project from hell is slowly getting towards completion just in time for the project from Hades. But, for the moment I am much better.

Well I would go at the drop of a hat, but John needs to go other places. Unfortunately Europe is bad too as our exchange rate with the Euro is abysmal too. We were going to go on a driving holiday there through a few countries, but that will be too expensive too.

While we're stuck in this present economy, it's going to be hard to travel as much as you like. You can't afford what you used to be able to. You just have to wait it out until it turns around. Hopefully it won't be very long.

Wouldn't you think everything would go down because no one is going I got all excited today because I got on email from Disney saying you could get $99.00 per person cruise. Then I realized you had to book a regular cruise in early 2009 to get a $99.00 one in September.

Hi!

I'm in the office, waiting for it to be time to go to the airport and pick up my siste-in-law (ex). FOUR DAY WEEKEND!

Just found out my credit union is letting me skip my December car payment, so I'm taking that money, buying Peg & Jose's Christmas presents and hiring "The Maids" to come and clean my house! It will be nice to start out the holiday/New Year with a shiney house again. Of course, I have a big decluttering project to do first.

Well, I'm off to check and see if RCL has opened their summer 2010 stuff yet.......

Good morning everybody!

Gaylean - when do you want to do a camping trip, and how far north do you want to come? And what exactly is in a green bean caserole? I hear it mentioned but I've never actually seen one.

Ingredients:

1 can (10 3/4 oz.) Campbell's® Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup (Regular, 98% Fat Free or 25% Less Sodium)
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp. soy sauce
Dash ground black pepper
4 cups cooked cut green beans
1 1/3 cups French's® French Fried Onions

Directions:

MIX soup, milk, soy, black pepper, beans and 2/3 cup onions in 1 1/2-qt. casserole.

BAKE at 350°F. for 25 min. or until hot.

STIR . Sprinkle with remaining onions. Bake 5 min.



Camping

undecided The problem is that we need to camp in the summer and it will be hot in some spots. How cold is it there? You guys go in August, right? We need to check out spots because a lot of them require 7 months in advance. If anyone knows any good ones along the coast please let me know. We will also probably stay in a few hotels

& good luck with Tom. That is a lot to take on having a child in your home. You are good grandparents.

I've been and will be spotty for the next few days as that darn virus is still with me. I'm running my laptop to my IT guy in the next day or so and I think he is going to have to wipe it clean and rebuild it. Times like these I'm grateful that he and Paul barter for services.

We have scouts tonight so we're heading out soon.

Well at the moment it is sunny and the sky is blue. Not sure how long for, but it looks great.

Just 9 days and we will be packed up and ready to go to the airport hotel for the night!!! Then we fly in 10 days, and meet Monica in 11

I think I have all the Christmas presents I need to buy, apart from one I think, and John if we bother. A couple I have to wrap before we set off on holiday. !

Can I come with you?

I am not happy with my work. I went to my work for hand the holiday form as it start from 8.30 am so I went up about 8.40 and realised it was a long queue. Then I handed my form in and one manager said i might not get some holidays. I said well November holiday is my priority. You see her face when I said it. Because I have no planning for next year apart from November 09. I must fill in all 5 weeks holiday, if i don't put any 5 weeks holiday then I don't get any holidays. Seem daft, how I know what is planning ahead.

I bumped to my old boss and he want to know where I am going next year!!! I told him nothing apart from New York. I told him because money crunch now also I told him that I booked July 2010 for Disney Cruise. He told me that not allowed to that and have to wait until holiday confirmation. What a crap at my work. Mean I have to go queue very early next year. Sound daft. I asked my workmate what the manager said they said nothing why me? I am not happy with it and I think the manager was not very nice to say that to me.

Grrrrr I need to go away from my work which is crap now.

My stupid computer is playing about now pop up with virus grrr i had been checking my own virus said none.

Looking like not my day today. Now I am off to wraping up the Xmas present for the kids before they search around the house lol.

Deborah I wish I had Christmas gifts to wrap Sorry holidays are becoming so hard for you to book though. I have no idea if I will have problems booking in the future, but my boss is planning to go to WDW with his family for the 1st time in 2009, and I have been helping him plan I told him, since I've been so helpful, of course he's going to okay my vacation the next couple of years, right?

Thanks for more happy birthday wishes from Monica, Kathe, Shannon and Ian again. You guys really are the best! Thank you for helping to make it such a special day.


Sandi called last night and told us some very bad news about Tom. He was having a very difficult time being uprooted. He finally got to a good place here in PA and was doing well when they yanked him out and moved him to FL. He has NOT been doing well again in FL. He's currently in a mental hospital and put on suicide watch. They'll probably hold him for a couple of days and then release him to a halway house or someplace like that. They are afraid of letting him go back home because he doesn't want to be there.

I blame Sandi and Joe. So does John. It's tearing John appart to watch how Joe is destroying his loved ones. I thought about taking on the job of having Tom move back in here with us and go to school where he was doing so well when he left. But John said that he would not be able to handle Tom now, he's not the kid that left here....he's too far gone by now and it would be too much work. Still, I feel we need to be there for him. John said he wouldn't be able to do it. I feel torn and helpless. I wish we could help.

I know you guys will help Tom as much as you can.You must feel so very torn
