Not yet because every day I am on my way to do that, I see his dad walking into the house with bags of groceries. I will offer tonight to beat them to the punch.

I just hate that this is happening while mom is gone.. I have to bother one of my neighbors for a ride up to the dealer... or I can walk.. it's just up the road kind of...

I'm not good at dealing with things on my own anymore.. I think I need to work on that part of confidence.

He told me today that every day he finds himself more and more looking forward to us seeing each other and hates that he's so limited by pain. He says he thanks God every day that he surived the accident though and tries to keep that in mind when pain gets really bad. But he doesn't want anybody feeling sorry for him, so it's tricky. I see the pain on his face and want to say I'm sorry but he doesn't want pity, so now I started to joke mildly, for example, when we were leaving a store today and he just had to stop in between the 2 sets of doors and stand there a minute until a wave of pain passed, I asked "Are you going to make it? Do you want me to carry you to the car?" He started cracking up and said "Are you making fun of the handicapped? You better not skip church tomorrow, you need to pray about that!" I felt kind of bad to joke about it but he told me later he appreciated that and prefers that over feeling sorry. Just a bit awkward but I can do that!

But.....on a lighter note, thanks! I'm happy for me too! I'll get a pic soon to share. I almost took one tonight because he noticed my giant stuffed moose footstool and decided to sit on it, looked like he was riding it, but I was laughing too hard to think quick enough of getting a picture, LOL! When he's not smiling, he kind of looks a little like a skinny version of "The Rock".

Still here, lurking not posting. I've been addicted to Big Brother. I watch the 24 hour feeds and there has been a lot going on. I'm obsessed with it.

But I still keep up with the DIS and FB and see what's going on in everyone's lives.

I'm very happy for you Holly. But I'm sorry that the family doesn't feel the same. It's their ignorance and hopefully they will get over it.

Oh no....hopefully someone will discipline her soon. I know you said the dad doesn't do that with tyler and just you do it. But someone has to do it for the sister. It doesn't matter what her age. She needs to learn right from wrong.

Thanks Deb! I think my mom will be happy if I can ever get in touch with her to update her. I'm hoping she comes to town today for a visit (left her a voicemail asking her to come so Tyler can see her and tell her all about camp when I pick him up today) and I'll fill her in then. Tyler likes him a lot, but he's never seen me spend any time with a man at all, even as friends, so I'm not sure how he will react to him coming over. We'll see soon enough!

Ok.. I WAS only the battery!!!! It had a bad cell... THANK GOD FOR AAA!!!! They came right away and tested it again and this time it showed up that there was a bad cell and they brought one along and replaced it.. This one has a 6 year guarantee... and it only cost me $120!!! THAT much I have in my account.

I'm going for pizza tonight!!!

Tyler does NOT like Saudi food. But I'm super proud of him for trying everything. I had leftovers from the last 2 meals, so I fixed him a few small bites of each, along with his main dinner. He tried telling me it was good, but I could see on his face that he was less than thrilled. So when I told him he can tell me if he doesn't like it, he confessed. Totally understandable because everything (at least what I've had so far) has different spices than we're used to, not hot spicy, but different flavoring than anything I've ever had.

I'm glad he tried though!
