Hi Mon!!!


Had some pretty wicked storms move through here last night.. Was up most of the night listening to thunder roll through...

One hit pretty close to home. Heard fire sirens after. Hopefully it wasn't anything really bad..

Still working on sorting all of my craft stuff. Looks like a stitching store blew up in my living room. I'm under orders to get it all cleaned up before mom gets back... It iwll be only another day or so... soo much stuff but I did find the baby sampler I want to do for the baby.

My weekend went nicely - did the errands & girly stuff on Saturday (mani/pedi) & was on the road Sunday about 930am. Encountered basically no traffic going up to Jacksonville (which was great) & I got there after about 2hrs 45min. Spent about 5 hours laying out on the beach, with my Kindle then got to spend some quality time with the guy. We saw the sun set and it was good to see him relaxed (doesn't do that too often as he's always on the go).

Left there about 1045am yesterday, and stopped by my old office to say HI. Spent about an hour there, then headed home.

Back to real life now () oh well.

Glad you had some quality time together! Cherish every moment!

Holly - sounds like things are progressing nicely Tell Tyler "way to go" for me....it's wonderful that he is trying those new foods.

Yes they are progressing wonderfully! I think what's nicest is the level of talking going on. We've learned more about each other in such a short time than I've learned about past people in months. It's nice and very cozy. The bad thing is that sometimes the waves of pain that come out of nowhere scare me a bit. There was a moment last night where I thought I might have to call 911. Hoping surgery comes soon so he can start feeling better.

For inquiring minds.......when you see my newest FB friend pop up tonight or tomorrow, the profile picture is NOT him. It's his uncle who just passed away 2 or 3 weeks ago. He's using his uncle's pic as his profile pic for 30 days to honor him.

So find the only friend on my list whose name shows up as symbols. Easy enough, LOL! The go to photos, click on photos, then the album "My fam" and top row, first pic is parents, next is him with his mom. It's a year old though but he looks the same, hair is just shorter. That's Loie!

Thanks! I did that for a couple things. Wonder if I should blow him away and type just a hi, how are you, and have google translate it to Arabic. LOL! Boy would my family blow a gasket! MIght be hilarious just for that aspect!

Nah, anything I need to learn I'd learn just by being around family. There's really only a couple months in between each long visit from family members. They all sort of tag team, each staying anywhere from 1-3 months. So there will always be lots of people there speaking their language. Just from hanging out with him and his parents, I've already learned 2 words. I know, that's not much, but it's a start!

LOL!!! No, surprisingly! The word for Siamese, because his mom asks about my cat a lot because Loie always talks to her about him, and she used to have a Siamese and loves them. And a word that's a term of endearment: habibi. That one he and his mom call each other and also his mom and dad.

Getting ready for the storms.. already have tornado warnings up .. fun stuff.. of course it's nice and sunny out already. I've already decided that if we lose electric for long.. I'm packing up both coolers and heading down to my brother's house...
