I'm so happy to be sailing on the Magic soon. My favorite ship in my favorite room 5122.

Me and John just realized that we have not been on the Magic since the WBPC crossing in '08, with all of you. WOW!!!! That's a long time. But we have been doing the Wonder a lot. And we did the Dream too. But we have not been on the Magic since we were all on her together.

It's going to be real sweet getting back aboard her.

You didn't properly read what I originally posted Michelle. The two terms are different. Founder and Founding.(Not that I am that bothered in the grand scheme of things I don't even drink it now and was only a sipper then) But I know the UK and US differ in meanings of words and terminology. I guess I thought those who did bother about it might have thought I was stealing the ones who had thought up the idea's thunder putting what I had in my signature.

Now I guess together with Martha(nanatink) and Angie I am joint 'Founder' member of the Old Gits and Geezers actually!!! I remember that discussion well. How I wish we were back in the days of planning that cruise.

You leave your signature alone. It's perfect. You are a founding member of both. So you're correct.

You will be at another CG's event. You'll just drink tea. But it will be a lot of fun because of all the people attending. Just the originals and no one else. That includes you!!!

Calling All........ORIGINAL CHAMPAGNE GIRLS!!!!!! Time to get your pink on!!!!!

Who wants to book an 11/30/13 Fantasy cruise and crash a Champagne Girls tasting that is being hosted by Holly in concierge. I told her to not be so surprised if I crashed her party and possibly came with a few of the originals.

What a trip. I would LOVE to see how she hosts the event.

Yeah.. got home about 6... glad to be home... only one person cried this weekend... unfortunately.. it was me...

OH NO....why, what happened? In the picture it looked like mom had all her kids around her and everyone was smiling. It looked like you had all gotten it together.

It's just what was happening... it took soo long to put this thing together.. I ended up doing just about everything wrong... I made too much food.... I left to go see the Magic... My sister wouldn't let Brian stay with me... I got up early today to go up to Brian's favorite sandwich place to get him his favorite sandwich.. she wouldn't let him take it on the plane with him... Mom told me I had an attitude all weekend and that I've become a cranky b-i-t-c-h....

All this on top of being exhausted... I'm going through a chunk of menopause and (sorry Karl...) I've had my period for over 3 weeks.. cramps included...

Work has been.. Everyone want to complain about the Federal Gov't and all the healthcare crap... try to get your own money when the feds are holding it at one of the banks not getting cleared... and no.. i has NOTHING to do with who's in the white house, etc.. it has everything to do with the fact that the banks crashed and now they are being super careful before letting very large deposits made and disbursed...

So I got to go to Jersey and back on about $20.... and I have to get through until tuesday...

and I got grilled by everyone about how I live my life...

I think I'm not liking my family just about now...

THAT's why I cried most of the way home...

&&&& i saw an accident this morning where one of the people died.. I past it right after it happened. They had to fly them out and everything.

I need to start this week over again...

That must be an American term. I don't like it much really, sounds too official and ancient! Founder or founding means what it says, charter is a 'thing' to me so like saying you are a member of a charter(whatever that might be) We will have to agree to differ on that I think, though it doesn't really matter at all as it is such a minor thing, plus I am not too likely to be joining in one again methinks so won't need a t shirt!!

CHARTER: noun
1.*a document, issued by a sovereign or state, outlining the conditions under which a corporation, colony, city, or other corporate body is organized, and defining its rights and privileges.
2.*a document defining the formal organization of a corporate body; constitution: the Charter of the United Nations.
3.*authorization from a central or parent organization to establish a new branch, chapter, etc.

The Charter Members would be people who compose the original group and often have their signatures on the document or their names printed on it.

I am not voting for any specific terminology however.

THAT'S A LOT Michelle. No wonder you're devistated and overwhelmed. Don't let them get to you. Just live your life for yourself and don't worry about it. Call a doctor and make sure you're OK physically. There may be something that a doctor can do for you. I would call. The rest of it take day by day.

Both. Final destination is TN. Stopped for an overnight on the way in Cave City, KY at Wigwam Village and then tour of Mammoth Cave. In TN now until Friday.

WE HAD A LOVELY VISIT WITH TYLER AND HOLLY TODAY~!

It dawned on me this morning that they might be coming through Indianapolis and I got in touch with her through Facebook.

They were a couple hours north of here and said they could stop by for a half hour (but it was really longer than that Lucky us!! )

Tyler has GROWN!

He was very interested in our building--I took them on a tour since it used to be a factory and it is neat to see how it was made into condos. We have some huge museum-like pictures of it when it was a factory of the people working here. He took some pictures of the pictures.

What a gentleman he was!
