Well after all my fuss yesterday, I heard back from David first thing today. He's my contact for a venue. He assures me that DCL has my request but that they have not assigned us a room yet because they are focusing on the Fantasy maiden voyage first. I can understand that, but don't ignore me....I'm a paying customer too. When I call or write, please respond. Even if it's just to tell me that you'll get back to me later. Well at least today they did that. But no news yet as to where or when. We're in waiting mode.

My lawyer's office called today. I have to meet my lawyer at the court house on Friday morning. We have to probate my mom's Will. Ray didn't have a Will. But he has an insurance policy with the beneficiary as my mom's estate. It's all very complicated, but that's why we have a lawyer. So I'll be going to court on Friday morning. What should I wear?

What a pain having to wait to hear if everything is a go. I am confident though that they will give you the venue that we need and that everything will work out Deb. Afterall, do they really want 100 CG's upset with them

BTW.. Deb.. try calling them early next week... I'm sure after the frenzy of getting the MV of the Fantasy done, they will be a lot open to discussing future events.

I called them yesterday and got the email today saying I have to wait. There is no reason why I should call them again next week. They will only tell me that I have to wait again.

hahaha....now that would be a very interesting outfit to say the least.

Thanks Angie. I think this time is going to be quick and easy. We're just signing the Will into probate and they need my signature as Executor. Either way, it's no fun going to a court house.

MICHELLE!!!!!!!!

First of all my request was put in on March 1st...not this week. Second of all I am paying more for this trip than I did for the PC crossing....so I deserve some attention, not to be ignored. Third of all I'm leaving in less than 5 weeks and I have 95 ladies waiting to hear and make plans....mini navigators etc.....plus people are leaving a week or so before the departure date and will not be near a computer. Fourth, I was on the maiden voyage of the Dream and paid a hefty price and got treated like dirt. It was my worst experience on a DCL cruise ever. Fifth, I fully expect them to tell me that I cannot have 95 ladies attend then I will have to scramble at the last minute trying to cut people and give back refunds. I would like to know as soon as possible if I can have 95 people at one event or not. I am not happy with the fact that everytime I do an event they always screw up the room and make last minute changes. I want them to let me know what's going on and if not at least let me know when they will have time to attend to me. I don't think that's asking too much.

Deb... I KNOW... but right now DCL is in the middle of launching a 100+ Million $$$$ ship... sorry, but you're not on their list of priorities...
