Thanks Deb.. my Dr. wasn't in today.. I have a call in to see if I can get into any of the Drs. tomorrow. Hopefully I can get some meds that will help me kick this out of my system... 3 weeks of feeling like roadkill is no fun...

The only good thing I can say is that with all this coughing... I have great abs!!!




Tonight mom got a call that a friend of hers, my Aunt Ro passed away... she's very sad tonight. We can't make the service (in Rochester) because I'm sick. I told her we'd go to Mass on Sat. to remember her.

So so sorry.....I know how aweful and frustrating it is to have a full blown sinus infection and all the coughing that just lingers on and won't let go. Hopefully you'll get some good drugs tomorrow to knock it out. Hugs.

I have gone back and removed my posts...

I owe you an apology Deb...

After being sick for 3 weeks and not having slept well at all in that time, I have realized that I have become a cranky you know what.

I'm sure that the news about Aunt Ro just added to that.

Hopefully I will be able to get in to see the Dr. today and get some real meds so I can get some rest and go back to my bright and cheerful self... (ok.. I'm kidding...)

Well after all my fuss yesterday, I heard back from David first thing today. He's my contact for a venue. He assures me that DCL has my request but that they have not assigned us a room yet because they are focusing on the Fantasy maiden voyage first. I can understand that, but don't ignore me....I'm a paying customer too. When I call or write, please respond. Even if it's just to tell me that you'll get back to me later. Well at least today they did that. But no news yet as to where or when. We're in waiting mode.

I find it hard to believe that DCL has only one person handling the maiden voyage and the other ships. IMHO it is a poor excuse for not returning your messages.

MICHELLE!!!!!!!!

First of all my request was put in on March 1st...not this week. Second of all I am paying more for this trip than I did for the PC crossing....so I deserve some attention, not to be ignored. Third of all I'm leaving in less than 5 weeks and I have 95 ladies waiting to hear and make plans....mini navigators etc.....plus people are leaving a week or so before the departure date and will not be near a computer. Fourth, I was on the maiden voyage of the Dream and paid a hefty price and got treated like dirt. It was my worst experience on a DCL cruise ever. Fifth, I fully expect them to tell me that I cannot have 95 ladies attend then I will have to scramble at the last minute trying to cut people and give back refunds. I would like to know as soon as possible if I can have 95 people at one event or not. I am not happy with the fact that everytime I do an event they always screw up the room and make last minute changes. I want them to let me know what's going on and if not at least let me know when they will have time to attend to me. I don't think that's asking too much.

With all the screw ups you have to wonder what they are up to. Are they hoping you will give up?

Since they are so popular on your cruises, it would make sense for them to offer to coordinate them for you.

Exactly Cork....after all I am still a paying customer. One person could address my issues no matter what else they have going on.....even if it's only to tell me that they will get back to me later.

I think the problem is that they are so popular on all cruises, not just the ones that I do. I offer to pay DCL directly for the champagne. Others choose to bring their own. That's the problem. As long as DCL was making money off of the event, it was fine. When others chose to bring their own then DCL said that's not how it's going to work and structured it so that they could make money off of the event. You can't blame them for doing that.

I guess I am just surprised that DCL hasn't figured that out. They could offer an event and run it how they wanted. It folks wanted to bring their own charge the corking fee or an event fee. They will still make money.

Leaving here in just a few minutes....on my way to the Register of Wills at the local county courthouse. I'm meeting my lawyer there. We are entering mom's Will into probate because Ray doesn't have a Will but he has an insurance policy where mom's estate is the beneficiary.

That's as much as I understand for now. I'll learn more as we go along. So I'm heading to court. Wish me well.
